So in March, we booked our December trip. In July, we found out we were pregnant and decided that maybe a trip 6 months into a pregnancy wouldn't be the best use of our money. We stopped making payments but we never officially cancelled our original trip, because we were considering whittling it down to a weekend trip in order to keep our coveted BOG ressie...but the thought of just going down for a day or 2 in MK made me feel a bit overwhelmed and kind of sad. Anyway, with the announcement about the Osborne lights we're thinking about keeping our original trip. Because Osborne Lights is my FAVORITE THING. I can't even talk about it. I sobbed like...well, like a pregnant woman...when I found out.

The idea of keeping our trip has me extremely excited and extremely overwhelmed. I was in a state of no-Disney-ennui over canceling our trip. We had already built the whole thing up to our 3-year-old and, while she seems to have a basic understanding that this new fetus is going to take everything away from her and she just needs to accept that, I know how excited she was. But aside from her, Disney and Christmas are the magic in my world. It was such a hard decision to cancel in the first place.

So, we have our dining reservations already, but I did cancel my daughters BBB reservation and we never bought our tickets to the Christmas party. I have a month until final payments are due and we owe a lot. My husband is super gung ho about this...but I'm a bit stressed! Yes, I want to go. But some things will need to be rearranged, we'll need to take off at least a day in order to swing the cost but I had my dining schedule perfected. I had all my fp plans ready and was all set to book them at midnight on my day, but now there's so much I can't ride. I'm so nervous about touring the parks when I'm quite pregnant...my hips are already starting to hurt at 13 weeks! I just don't want us to go through all the hassle of making this work only to be miserable when we get there. My husband and I are super laid back travelers...we're not the type that needs to fit as much in as possible in order to feel like we got our money's worth, but if I'm in a lot of pain and my feet are swollen...I'm just so nervous!

Who's traveled pregnant? I'll be 6 months along at the time. Is it awful? What are some tips for last minute planning? I always have this stuff all planned out by like, February! Are we crazy? Ahhhhh.

I've traveled pregnant twice, both times between 5-6months...there's actually very few rides you'll miss out on. DON'T let that part deter you!!
Are you crazy? No way, go, have fun...just do what you're able to do literally and physically. :)

The great thing about touring with a 3 year old is that you could do nothing but meet mickey, ride dumbo and little mermaid over and over and they would have a magical trip! I say go, enjoy the babymoon and spoil your only child one last time before baby comes.

Thanks guys :] Ughh but what is Disney without Splash Mountain?? I'll miss it sorely...

I would totally go! Disney with no Splash Mountain is better than no Disney at all!!
