....best used by Oct 28th. I will be in Disney Oct 28th!! Am I the only wack that gets a kick out of that!? Please say there is someone else here that does that.

Me! I compare lots of things to the milk expiration date. I also prefer milk that expires on a friend/family member's birthday or holiday. Whoa! I need to get a life! :rotfl:

WOW!! I thought I was the only one who got excited when the date on my milk would be once my trip had started!! I always get so happy when I'm shopping and I pick up that milk, look at the date, and know this is the last gallon of milk I will by cause I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!

You're not alone. I'm wacky that way too! BTW what the heck kind of milk is that where it doesn't expire until Oct 28th? :flower:

Yup, we're all crazy! I actually get a little disappointed when it expires just a day off of a birthday or event! :earboy2:

when we bought our milk the other day - DH and Iwere checking the expiration date - and looked for the one that expired the day after we left for our trip

no use in taking a newer one!!

Okay, I just HAD to get up and look! I have both eggs and milk expiring on the SAME day during our trip. Oh well, if we don't use them by the time we leave tonight, I'll have my mother get them when she checks on the house...

I haven't done it with Milk but . . .

I work for a Private Jet Memebership company, and our 'calender' of flights defalts the days from today's date through the next two weeks, and it included the day we leave today!! That got me excited!! :earseek:

Although it won't be so exciting when next week it has the day we return on it! ;)

my question exactly! :rotfl:

i'll echo all the "me too" sentiments... but i'd never have thought to share that quirk w/the world 'cause i thought i was the only one... it's nice to know i'm not alone! :earboy2:

I always think about that too! But, I've never had the courage to tell anyone-I thought they would think that I'm nuts! :flower:

Your not alone I do it too. Actually this morning in the market :goodvibes
I know my Hood low carb milk has a very long expiration date. Mine is the 23rd of OCt.

I do it with half & half, and the expiration date is usually way out there. I get depressed when the expiration date is "after our return" cuz I know we'll be back.

We buy organic milk. It's called the Organic Cow of Vermont. For some reason organic milk lasts sooooo much longer! Maybe due to lack of hormones? WHO CARES! I'M GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!! :goodvibes

LOL! :rotfl:

I have to go to the grocery today for more milk - I am going to try to get one that expires when we leave! You guys crack me up! :rotfl2:

That's cool!!! We will be leaving for Disney in 28 days too. :cool1: I saw you were from MA me too. Cape Cod, now I just need to get some Milk. :rotfl2:
