ok so I have a planned, changed and revised my itinerary. Then rervised it, changed dining plans, changed daily plans and park events-I am tired. I need a vacation from planning my vacation!....54 days to go...
Our trip is September 3-8....Myself, DH, DD-6, DS 4th birthday trip...
we booked in January and got a code for 40%-woohoo-AKL!
I have wanted to stay here for years... Well nana & poppy are down visiting us and they say-well we wanna go too..I call back, the reservationist says I can get them the same rate (i love being a passholder!) so we're all booked-deposits are made....everyone's vacations are approved at their jobs-SOO EXCITED! 
now we're 180 days away...YESSSS! time to make ADRs, went onto all ears, we looked at all the menus...we decided, called and got all our choices-this is too good to be true this is so simple-nothing is ever this simple...it wasn't....
March...mom (back up in NY) calls us here in Florida...so we're gonna sell the house we miss you guys too much
...2 weeks later...ummm dad met a guy on a jobsite here that works in Florida and they need a foreman for a few projects. They got to talking and they like dad they set up a face to face meeting with the gentleman next week-he'll be flying down Friday night please pick him up at the airport.....
....Ok talks went well dad flies home...2 days later...I got the job 
..they need me to start next month...
here it comes...."can i stay with you guys until mom sells the house?. I can't pass this job up, they matched my salary I'll be making the same as I do here"...ugh, DH thinks its great he even offered to fly up and drive down with my dad and all his stuff/tools...etc...ok we're all good...
So I get it...
...To celebrate we go to disney for a quick weekend after he got settled...
So its June. My dad is her a little over a month and my mother calls-they have a buyer....in contract all is good....ok so the trip is planned and they close in mid-spetember-after our trip. She'll fly down for her 2 week vacation, come back up to move back down....i hear the sigh...."maybe I'll cancel for me-Dad can still go" she says...its alot and I have to pack...so now my dad he too wants to cancel-so i call to cancel...dialing...pressing 1 for this 2 for that...DH's phone rings...NO WAIT-ummmm your mom wants to go....but can we find something cheaper? he asks...ok "cheaper" in Disney...ummm NO, it think $174/night at the AKL savannah view is about as cheap as it gets..reservationist answers and I pause-I say umm actually I'm not sure-DH says-hang up-I say thank you we figured it our and hung up.....then there is the grunt...well everythings getting expensive, gas is going up, health insurance going up, salary-not going up...maybe we should stay-DONT SAY IT-off property...oh no I have planned this for 6 months-we are not changing anything. WE sit and talk and look over the finances-i really hate that...my DH decides we are going to pay for my parents reservation and we would cut other costs like eating out, and going to movies-etc.-he really is a good guy..
..I plan our trip as scheduled. I ignored the whole cheaper place to stay argument and actually forgot about it until....last week 
DH comes home and says "I heard Disney has an end of the summer getaway special for passholders and Florida residents....value resorts for $64 per night...have you looked into it?" Why would I look into that??
Does my DH still thinks we were changing the ressie?? I thought this conversation, from like a month ago, was over...I am soo looking forward to going to the AKL. I wanted to honeymoon there in 2001 but there was no availability...(we stayed at POFQ-it was nice) I have everything set...we aren't changing anything....well, DH decided to get computer savvy 
, and look into this himself...of all the times to actually help out and do something, this was it?? 
..."hunny, this resort looks fun", ok "hunny" hardly...I am more like Malefiscent at this point....whatever you decide SWEETIE with the hint of sarcasm in the air-in fact why dont you make a whole itinerary to go with the "fun resort"...fun times that afternoon at my house...so then I get the lecture "we go where you want, we do what you want, yadda yadda..I have no problems going to Disney all the time, but at least see my point its cheaper we'll save close to $900.00 and that will be money we'll use it towards dining-and your parents won't have to worry about saving more money to come and then pay for the movers and the new place..." the great DH says...
So I though about it...and instead of acting like a spoiled brat, I reluctantly agreed to change our ressie
...so we modified our reservation and changed some of our itinerary-that took months to plan...and we are now bound for the POP Century resort....and after reading a few of the posts here about it, I must admit I am a little excited about staying there....
(but we wont tell the DH about that)...we called my mom last night...she was excited, because she too was a little afraid of the cost for the dining and everything else with having to move right after...so it will work out better in the end...and 54 days to go....
