My Message to 2007

I feel for you Jenny. My 2007 has been about as bad as yours. I toasted to the year with my sister hoping for a good year and 10 days later she was dead. DH's gradfather is in the hospital with congestive heart failure. My BIL is in a serious depression and I think on the verge of a nervous breakdown. All we can do is keep fighting.

It can only get better, right?

2007 is starting out very rocky for me too. I lost a dear friend last week who died suddenly, and 2 immediate family members are having serious health issues.

Hope 2007 improves for everyone here!

I wish I could say you were wrong, but things could always be MUCH worse.

They could...I got a letter from the VA today..I am 100 % permanently and Totally diasbled with Individual Unemployability..I got a letter from the San Diego VA stating that I applied for benefits..I already have benefits..I didnt apply for anything.. SO I call the Va in Providence and a man there tells me that the san diego Va wanted me to see a doctor there to be evaluated..My award letter said I would never need to be evaluated again..My condition was progressive etc etc... They sent a letter(Which I never got) to my Rhode Island address telling me to see a doctor in San Diego? Huh?
His records show that they sent no letter. He's trying to straighten this up with the San DIego VA ,but what am I supposed to do if they cut off my pension? I have no other income and Ed cant work for who knows how long..It could take the VA ages to straighten this out..At least I go this months check..

OMG!

Jenny, I hope this gets straitened out. You don't need more of this on top of what you are dealing with. Let the guy try to take care of it, but keep on top of him to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
