We too are new members and just booked out 1st trip-SSR Oct 17-21 with a trip to MNSSHP. It's just me and my 2 boys-DH can't make it this trip-so we are in a Studio-really wanted to try the 1BR but that will have to wait until January. We are going to really try to get to know SSR and take advantage of all it has to offer-Hospitality Center and pool, etc... Probably will only hit the parks twice. We are huge pool people so will do some hopping too and check out the other DVC's. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. Isn't DVC AWESOME!!! ENJOY!!!!!

How long did it take for you to get your paperwork? Today is 2 weeks since we passed ROFR and now we are just waiting. It is driving me crazy!!!! (My family thinks I'm nuts.) I can't belieive with all of the mess and problems in this world that I am sitting here waiting with baited breath on papers from Disney!

I'm right there with you Chorlick. We passed ROFR on July 10th. I'm on this board everyday just being excited. My family thinks I'm nuts too. You see, I'm not a computer person so this is really out of character for me. Disney has taken over my senses. Maybe I'll calm down once I can say,,,,I'M A MEMBER OF DVC

We went through Disney and our paperwork was FEDEXed to us. We got it Tuesday and I think we paid our down payment/depsoit Friday.

SSR. I thought about looking at the Boardwalks but the extra years "called" to me. I look forward to spending time at all the resorts.
