My ME tags and vouchers have the wrong date!

I just noticed the date on my Magical Express tags and vouchers is or Aug. 28 (the day our package starts). We have a one night reservation on Aug. 27 so we'll be arriving that day. Will we have any issues using ME a day earlier than our tags/vouchers are dated?

If it is too late to order replacement tags I say it is safe to use the yellow tags you got. Draw one line through the date and/or resort as applicable and write in the correct information. But do not draw through any of the bar codes or the Mickey head.

Yellow tagged baggage is summarily removed from the airport to the resorts unsynchronized with guest movements taking into account hand written information on the tags. On the other hand guests themselves can be interrogated to match up DME travel date with resort check in or check out dates.

While your hand written date and resort name can be hand matched to a resort reservation (here, August 27) no harm is done skipping that step during baggage handling.

It shouldn't be a problem, but if you're concerned, just call the DME folks and ask what they suggest.

Thank you! I did end up calling and they are resending a new package.

The CM did tell me that I could use the tags by crossing out the date and writing the correct one, if my package doesn't arrive in time.

This happened to us too, but we also received tags for our room only rez.
