Maybe I"m missing something somebody can point out. Our package for 3 Adults with Water Park and Park Hopper 7 days from 12/8-12/14 at Pop originally priced out at $2048.67. That is without any discount, booked probably back around June before discounts for December were even available. Now with the 15% off room only discount, when I price it out on the Disney website I get $2010.99?? That is only a savings of $38. Any savings is better than nothing, but it seems like something is off. Any Ideas?

Had the new ticket prices come out by that point?

I have heard a lot of people had to pay the new price therefore the savings was very minimal.

If you have the dining plan, prices for the DDP and DxDDP went up last month as well as ticket prices. Is trip insurance included in the new total? Are you pricing the exact same resort and room category?

My guess would be the ticket price increase. Also, I've heard people complaining that the holiday room rates kick in early this year.

On an unrelated note, is it warm enough in December for the water parks? We usually don't add water park since, if we go, we only go to one park and it's not worth it to add it on unless you go twice. I've never go e in December, curious as to how warm it will be.
