I arrived in Orlando 5/21 and my friend landed ten minutes before me and met me at my gate. To make the luggage thing uncomplicated (because only I had tags and only my flight was booked on the system), we didn't check any luggage. We took everything to the ME counter where we waited in line and checked in. Some of the tags (didn't use them, so it didn't matter) were wrong, but eh. We then received our ME voucher and got in the line for our resort. About ten minutes later, the bus pulled up. Nice bus, nice movie on the way, and we were the first stop. I was pleased, but I bet things might have gone badly if we were a family who had checked luggage and used the tags. But it was great for us!
On 5/28, we got a letter when we checked in for our last night at POP confirming that we were booked on ME for the next morning, however, they were "unable" to list our flight time, so we had to call the number again and give our flight time (I felt as if I had done this ten times already) and were given an 11:40 departure for a 2:30 flight, which was fine. We checked out the next morning and were outside at 11:10, and got on the 11:10 ME with the permission of CMs "we're on the 1140..." "that's okay, want to go now?" (aww) - we were happy to get to the airporrt early and have a leisurely lunch before we split up for our separate flights. Again, I loved Magical Express and the music and the movie they showed on the ride to the airport was great and fitting and made us excited for another visit to Disney.
Final analysis- I LOVE MAGICAL EXPRESS but I'd be kind of nervous if my situation were more complicated and required luggage delivery! I'm sure it'll get straightened out, though.
