I know all the new Park Tickets are RFID enabled, but there appears to be a new name on the horizon for Park Media and the "option" to purchase Magic Bands coming in the near future...

MyMagic+ will be available for everyone else "relatively soon," says Tom Staggs, chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts. Once that happens, non-resort guests will get a MyMagic+ RF card as their ticket, which serves as a Magic Band, but in "card" form.

When they become available at the park, MagicBands can still be purchased separately and will cost less than $15.

I'm wondering if I'll be able to get a MyMagic+ RF card instead of my Magic Band. Oh wait, that would be my AP. Never mind.

I'm unsure how this is news (beyond day guests being able to buy bands for $15).

Everything else is basically already happening and has been for months?

I thought the purchasing of magic bands was pretty interesting and that park media was going to have a new name, My Magic Plastic :rotfl2:
