I came up with this while in a free period (shows you how bored I am.. LOL :rotfl2: ). It's kinda cool to think about, espicially now when people are going to beddie bye land.

"You never know how old you are until you can look back and remember all the important things in your lifetime" Wierd huh? :confused3

Major things in my lifetime:
  1. (a) Solar Eclipse
  2. The Death and Resurection of Doctor Who
  3. The Popularity and Death of Red Dwarf
  4. Childrens TV channels (Particulary, Nickeleodoen, Cartoon Network and Disney)
  5. (All 10 Years of) Pokemon
  6. 4 Generations of Video Games (with at least some knowledge of the past 3)
  7. The rise and fall of the Millenium Dome
  8. 2 World Cups (More importantly, France 98)
  9. England Winning the Ashes
  10. Iraq War
  11. 9/11 and 7/7

That's about it. Guess I am not that old enough eh? :teeth:

Excellent quote.

My quote would be one that I heard on the radio this morning:

A Father is a man that has a picture in his wallet where money used to be.

1. Listening to "The Sex Pistols"
2. The Falklands War
3. My first concert (Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow) which introduced me to Heavy Metal for life
4. Crying with joy as I watched STS-1 (Columbia) launch on TV / punching a "friend" when he made fun of the Challenger disaster the night it happened / not being able to drive home when I heard of the Columbia disaster in 2003 :sad1:
5. Rushing home from school to watch the first programmes on Channel 4.
5. Meeting my wife on November 4th 1988
6. The first Gulf War
7. Marrying my wife in 1991
8. First trip to Orlando / Labour coming to power in '97
9. Global terrorism / the war on terror / 2nd Gulf War
10. And finally, but most importantly, the safe arrival of Emily, Daniel & Howard - our children that I would move mountains for.
