My Little Princess is Turning 8 trip report. Completed

Sorry to hear you cancelled the cruise - but it will still be there when you are ready! When would you be going in October? I think our dates are 10/15-10/19 - not sure though as the school calendar hasn't come out - just guessing.

Re: moderate resorts - I've stayed at POFQ, CBR and CSR. My favorite of thsoe three was POFQ. I like the smaller size and it was really pretty. We had a bad experience at CBR - it was huge and we were in the furthest building. Also, we had horrible weather and Sam was sick so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I know lots of people like it there. I enjoyed CSR as well - we got lucky and were pretty close to the main buidling though. I enjoyed the food court there.

I don't think I would like a split stay either - I like to get settled and stay that way. It would be great if you could get a code for a deluxe!

well I can let you know after our first family trip in June, as we are staying at POR... The kids saw pictures from someone else TR, and are very excited for the pool... important stuff for the kids ya know

Our neighbors always stay at CSR and love it... Your little one would like it, b/c I think there is a big sandbox dig or something like that there??

Let me know after your trip in June how like POR. Alot of people seem to love it there. The pictures look beautiful. From what I have seen of CSR Ithink that looks beautifu too.

Looks like I'm missing you by 5 days. I think if we go for a moderate POFQ sounds great. quieter will be better for a longer stay. Also my kids love the slides though we could go to TL again for this. Also the boat to DTD sounds good too. We did like the pools at Pop BTW. They were nice and big and never packed. The only thing missing was the slide. Right now i have WL on hold for a few days until I decide.

I just wanted to let you know that CBR is one of my favorite resorts. They also just opened up a new lounge and the pool is definite of deluxe status. The cabana section is great. I stayed in 8A back In August.

I know you mean CRS not CBR. We drove by it and it looks really nice too. I'm a bit scared of being put in the Rancho's section. But the resort looks very nice to me too. It's between CSR and POFQ really for me. Thanks.

Yay, I'm so glad to see more! Sorry to hear that you're cancelling the cruise but at least you have another Disney trip to look forward to! I'm a deluxe girl too (we're splitting our stay in May between WL and AKL--woohoo!) but we had a lot of guests at our wedding stay at POFQ and they all really liked it. My SIL is even more "deluxe" than me and never thought she'd like a moderate but they stayed there again when they ran the marathon in January, so it must be decent!

The kiddos just love WDW and it is so much cheaper for more time. We stayed at WL last May. The kids just loved the bunkbeds and the boat to MK was great!
I love reading trippies for all the great ideas. I never thought of getting from Epcot to Hs bying going through WS exit and taking the boat.
Can't wait to see what your dream is!

I was dissapointed when I canceled the cruise, still am really. i'm hoping everything worls out for our fall trip. Glad to hear your SIL liked POFQ, that way if I end up switching then I won't be dissapointed. You have to let me know how like AKL. I love WL, that is where we spent our first 2 trips with DD. That is what I currently have bookked.

Hi and to my trippie. So your thinking about a cruise too. My DH wants to go on a cruise way more than he wants to go back to Disney. We love WL too! I learned alot of good Disney tips by reading trip reports . The boat ride between Epcot and HS was efficient but some say the bus is much faster. It was a nice ride though. I'll probably post the dream on Monday morning.

Hello and . Glad you are enjoying the report. My DH picked 50's PT and it was alot of fun. the food was good as well. Not Cali Grille or Le Cellier good but good enough KWIM? Your DD will like it.

Thanks so much. We had a great first day. Wish we were still there . Kaylee's Birthday coming up Monday morning unless I have time sooner. I'm cleaning Kaylee's pig stye room and taking a short break. She has way too much junk and keeps everything .

I loooooved POFQ, I've only stayed at one other moderate and that was POR but i can't imagine any other moderate topping POFQ!! Im splitting my 10 day stay in august between BC and either a value or a moderate depending on the cost, i'll be starting a pre-trip soon, hope to see you there! Glad to hear you loved POFQ. For the most part we are beaten POFQ or CSR for a mod and AKL & WL for deluxe. I'll be watching for your pretrip report. A 10 days trip sounds great .

Hey Nichole,

Sorry about the cruise...maybe another time. We liked CBR. It was nice - very large, but nice. We really didnt spend too much time there. The rooms were nice (largest of the mod's I believe). I have stayed at POR and POFQ in the past - they too were nice. I think next time, we might try CSR, just to have done all the mods, who knows? I am sure which ever you choose, you will like. After all, it is all Disney, right?
