I have heard that you could purchase some sort of all you can fill bucket with MLP items at Downtown Disney. Does anyone know if they still have this? I'd love to do this for my dd and have ds fill a bucket at the Lego store.

Yes, they still have this for My Little Pony. They have two different ponies to choose from and then a TON of accessories. Things like fairy wings, shoes, a princess bed, combs and brushes, and tons of princess clothes. It was a lot of fun! I can't remember the cost, but I'm thinking around $15.

They do still have it and it's fun to do. We got ours last time we were down in March and we were able to fit just about everything they offered and 2 ponies with the help of an awesome cast member at the store. I think I paid 20.00 though....can't quite remember. I'm sure someone knows the exact price.

I am going to do this with my DDs but I plan on buying the ponies at walmart and bringing them with me that way we can get more goodies in the box

Awesome! I know I had heard about it awhile back but didn't know if it still existed. I'm not too picky on the exact price. I am giving my kids home made Disney dollars for good behavior and they can turn what they earn in for their tickets ($124 b/c we are military) and then anything extra will be spending money for them. Thanks to all for replying :)

We have done this twice, my daughters love it!

The box isn't that large so we brought our own ponies. The first time we did it I just had my girls throw what they wanted into the seat of the stroller (or you could use a shopping basket). Then I went to work stuffing and folding things just so so that we could fit as much as possible in the box. We were able to fit some furniture and accessories, tons of clothes, hats, and about 50 tiaras in the box.

The second time we only bought clothes so we just stuffed the box as we went. The first time though I was able to fit everything but a popcorn cart. I was pretty proud of myself. LOL

We did this in May as a gift for my little nieces. They had four ponies to choose from. We managed to get 3 of every outfit(with 2 sets of shoes per outfit) and trinkets plus two ponies in our box! Fill the bottom of the box with a nice layer of the small trinket things like shoes and headbands then grab the main dresses and skirts and lay them flat on the bottom. Then put one pony in head first and another feet first. then start to shove all the other accesories in around them. We managed every single thing x3 except the bed which we skipped and we only got one long pony mirror. Remember that the box does not need to close nice and neat...it just has to close;)

I had a Mom from on here, her daughter is a manager in the DTD area and was kind enough to stuff the box for me and ship it to me. I could NOT believe all the stuff she was able to fit in there! All the princess ensambles, some sort of wedding canapy thing, brushes, and on and on. It was great- we filled her christmas stocking with the stuff. It was such a nice gesture of her and clearly she was a pro- I wonder if you could ask a CM for any tips or tricks on stuffing your box?
The only thing I thought was odd....DD had her own ponies so I told her we didnt need the ponies- but the shoes don't fit her ponies and I can't figure out why.

Thanks again to all for the great tips and suggestions. I think I might have more fun being challenged by packing the box than my daughter will! I did read somewhere that a cm helped someone fill their box to make it compact and that's where I had heard about this in the first place. I just wanted to make sure it was still available. My dd will be in heaven:lovestruc

I'm pretty sure there's a station for this at the store in Toontown in the MK, too. The same store where you meet the fairies and princesses.

The ponies you get when you fill the box are slightly smaller and of a different(softer) plastic than regular MLPs you buy separately. The shoes you get in the box (and some of the tighter-fitting clothes) will not fit the bigger ponies.

Since my DD already had a pony, we almost just filled the box with clothes/accessories. But since the things are so small, we ended up having room for a few ponies, and I"m so glad. Otherwise, all of those little shoes would have been useless.

Yes there is, at least when we were there in April. The cost was $19.99. DD had fun filling it but after we got home I don't think she has even played with the stuff. :confused3

I think my 5 year old would like this...I am looking forward to that store anyways!

Oh please, does someone have a picture? I'd like to see if DD5 will be interested in this. She does play with her ponies, but she has her Princesses ride the MLPs and maybe if there are dresses, tiaras for the ponies...less toys to bring and pay Delta $15 for!

here is a thread with pictures and there are more if you search for MLP in the forum
