Well, the conclusion to my vest making saga is right here:

Here is DS wearing the vest that mommy (me) made for him. Now, mind you, I did not sew a stitch, it is all held together with that iron on fabric fusing tape (Bless whoever invented that stuff)

So, without further ado, here is my little cowpoke:
