Thank you all for you kind thoughts and wishes. No news yet. I took some Tylenol PM last night and slept like a rock. Kind of edgy today though. We are excited. It is nice to have a place to post a "secret" and know that none of the family will see it. THousands of friends to share with here. Since it will be just 2 of us and our little dog, it will not be a hard move. Last time it was 2 small children and a cat and then added another child before we left. Much more complicated, Oh and no internet then. We bought our first computer (an Apple GS) when we were there last time (1990). Wow!! That was a flashback. This time we will be connected to the world and be able to order things by internet. I did build a pretty good relationship with the late night ladies at the Penneys catalog line! We would talk for hours and we didn't even know each other. Crazy. Anyway. Still waiting on our life change!!

He is a lucky man to have a wife follow him all that way. sounds like fun and dont forget to stockup on the junk food you cannt get there lol

Sorry I haven't updated. At 5:00pm our time yesterday a call came in. My husband took it into the bedroom because our oldest daughter was here. had to give her a little fib that it was a business call and Dad;s cell phone has been acting up. Well, it was the secretary and she told him that they would not be making a decision until next week because it has become more complicated. So we keep discussing this and not really having any idea if it is good or bad. We are still very hopeful. We know some of the local politics and realize that that always plays into this and can truly make it complicated. Thank you so much for support! To the lady that said something about him being lucky that I will follow him. He came with me the first time 22 years ago. I guess this time is my turn. You can do anything for a year or two to make things better. So we continue to wait on a decision. Will let everyone know when we know.

I read your post to my hubby and he broke out in song and sang over half of the song!! Too cute. Every couple of hours we have another discussion about another aspect of this move. The last one revolved around our little dog and how to make this move for her. I am a bit concerned about my 2 cats. I will miss them so much. I do know my girls love them as much as I do so that is a comfort. Today is more business type talk. It is so hard to just wait. It is like being pregnant and 2 weeks overdue ( did that once).

Good luck OP! We are in a similar situation. DH has applied for a position within his company that would require a big move (but it would b well worth it financially). For us, there are a few areas in play as there are several jobs open. We could be staying on the East Coast or heading to the midwest. Should know in the next week or two. It's exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time!
