Thought I'd share with all my friends here the layout I made for MIL the other day.

Nope, MIL doesn't scrapbook. These were pages to add to the book we gave her for Mother's Day. She knew I was making something special for her for MD but didn't know what. She also didn't know I was pregnant until she opened it up. These pages were given to her on Saturday to let her know that she's going to have another grandson come December.

I was originally told December 8, but who knows. The last sonogram showed December 14 or December 18, so I guess early to mid December is a good guess for now.

Here's a link to the rest of the album we gave to MIL. Tigger Album The cover and first few pages were her Mother's Day present. I gave her another 2-page spread a couple days later. And the last two sets were given to her this past weekend...

I love that mini album! How did you do the ties that bind page? I love that!

OK - swift kick in the tookus - I need to do something NOW for our new wee one! I need to start the book NOW! Not in two years.

You Ultrasound photos are great! I had my first 12 week ones yesterday and we couldn't wake the baby after he/she fell asleep to give us a good side profile view but I've got some pretty good body ves - better than I got with my son. The tech couldn't tell, she thought one way and then thought the other shortly thereafter so she said, nope, no way to tell yet. Next one is in six weeks! I can't wait!

Thanks. The supplies I used for that layout included Karen Foster 2 Sided Paper "Baby Boy Stripe" and Tiles Play in yellow and green. I cut the 12x12 paper down to 6x6 and used leftover for the mats. I printed the quote directly on the paper. I can't remember the font I used, but if I figure it out I'll edit this post. I hope that's what you were asking for...

Now, [COLOR=6495ED]castlegazer[/COLOR] hop to it. (Actually I haven't done any pages for myself yet. But I figure if I never do at least I have these scanned. )

Thanks for the info. How did you do the zig zags? Did you just roll a cutter over the areas and it left a little of the other papers showing or is there a secret technique?

Believe me you are so much better off NOT having an exact DUE DATE - they are just a guess and they give you two weeks before or after - but when they give you a DATE and it comes and goes and your still pregnant it can get fustrating

I premade a few pages for 'Sticka'
even brought the book to the hospital so all our visitors could write her a little note in it!
