My last day teaching...whoo hoo!

This is officially my last day of teaching a college course on educational research and I'll tell you one thing I am NEVER doing it again! Most of it was online, but the whole experience was unpleasant. The students always turned in most things late and whined when they were penalized and because I'm close to their age I guess they thought I should be more "cool" and let it slide. From now on I'm going to stick with teaching the little ones, like I'm used to.


Just wanted to share my joy that this experience is over!

Yeah - live and learn. It's nice to have that experience - so you know what NOT to do in the future!

I work at a HS, and today is our last day too. Everybody - students and teachers are so ready for this to be over! Thankfully, we haven't had a real hot spell, or the kids would have been even more distracted!

Definitely live and learn. Initially, it sounded like pretty good pay for just teaching a 5 week summer course, but now I don't think I was paid nearly enough for grading 56 papers in the middle of the night because half of them were turned in late and the university had a deadline that all scores be posted at 8am this morning.

Oh Lord, I know how miserable you were then. I'm a Master's Level student as well and what made it worse was that I shared one class with 2 of my students. Not good
