lovin' your tr! loved the pretrip report too! shared all yur cute outfit ideas with dd and she is now going wild planning things for her kids for our trip in april...we are even doing us some things to get in the spirit! you mentioned in your report about the walmart in clermont and i was wondering if you had any info { since you lived in orlando }about outlet stores that sell disney stuff/ i read soemwhere about it but would love to hear about it form soemone in the 'know'...also i am hoping to persuade dsil to leave for disney in the afternoon of the day before we are to check in and stay the night on the road...we get out of school early that day{ i'm a pre-k asst. and dgd is in k-g and we are on same schedule !} and could make it to orlando about 11 or so and get a cheap hotel...$37 sounds great! would be a great surprise for the kids ,their not gonna be able to sleep anyways knowing we are leaving .plan is to leave at aorund midnight and drive all night...would rather get a room downthere and have a place just to lay our heads and dream our disney dreams! can't wait to read more of your report and love all your pix...

Get one of those free fl hotel books at the rest area thats where we found our cheap room ..you will have many to pick from... keep reading

Oh my gosh, I saw hoppy too !!! My friends and I spotted him on our 2nd night and then saw him at least 2 or 3 other times. How funny! I told you our paths may have crossed!!

Great report!! Where is the outside deck at the Contemporary & how do you get to it? We've only been to Chef Mickeys once so I don't know alot about that hotel.

its on the same floor the game room and Chef Mickeys is on walk all the way on the other end and your will see doors that will lead you outside. its very nice out there

Hi Amanda!! Argh!! I got back from our trip and hit the floor running, I am just now having a little time to check in. I am so excited!! I am loving your TR, I am so ready to go back, especially when you get on here(Disboards) and start reading. I told my husband Disney must cast a spell on you or something. Only back three weeks and could pack up and leave tomorrow. I can't wait to read more.

ok, since I'm fairly new to this Disney stuff do you have to eat breakfast at Crystal Palace in order to get into MK while it is still pretty empty or is there another way? Also How early did you get there to be the first at the rope and can you do that just by going to the MK early? Thanks for your help.

Great photos of your family. I'm so jealous, hope my kids will pose that good in front of the castle. (I doubt they will though). You must have gotten there really early for it to be so empty. May I ask what time? I have ressies at CP, but not until 9:20. I'm worried it isn't early enough.

i know it seems if we open the park it was slow but by 4 it was busy but not summer busy just more people we didn't wait in a line the whole week longer then 10/15 mins

Im in such a hurry so I cant comment on everything rightnow but the kids are sooo freekin cute and Im glad you guys got to wake up tink!! Ill chat more soon- gotta run!!

We had an early ADR for CP too and it was great getting into the park early!

Glad your dc got to wake up Tinkerbell...mine did too, guess the secret is out but it was a mad race to do so

So cool that you won lanyards from the dream team!! We didn't see them at all

Day Four Our MGM- But someone will lose something ? what will it be ?

We woke up alittle late because we was alittle worried about Alexis because last night she had gotten sick and we had to call and get new sheets for the bed.
But to our surprise Alexis woke up happy and not feeling bad at all, so We got dressed and headed to the bus .
It was our MGM Day !!
Alexis has been talking about this day forever, it is the day she will finally get to ride tower of terror .
So WE get to MGM and we missed the rope drop So we head over to TOT and the stand by line is only 15 mins so we jump in line .
We get put on 1st row and the ride starts & Alexis is hating it .
Alexis said when she got off
Alexis " I didn't like that one bit mommy , I will never ride that again "
Me " Sorry baby never again "
James " I told you Alexis you wouldn't like it "
Jason " when you get older you may change your mind "
Alexis " Yeah when i'm 10 "
ME " Ha ha ..Yes maybe when your 10 "
We head to look at the photo and it doesn't come up
no photo's of tot ....

So we leave and head to the great movie ride Because i heard alot of dreams happen there , but when we got to the end i saw the dream team but they was waiting for the next group ... We had missed it by a car darn ,oh well ..

So we headed to the Little Mermaid and it was great as always . and then we went to see Playhouse Disney .

I just love this show , It brings me back to when james and Alexis was small But I hate that they added JoJo and took off Rolie Polie Olie .
The funny thing is you could tell the new mom's and Dad's from the older kids mom's and dad's
Because the older kids 5-7 year olds mom and dads (Like me & Jason ) Knew the words to the songs of Bear & Stanley & The book of pooh
And the new Mom's and dad only knew the jo jo song & got very happy when the jo jo part came on...
Sorry to laugh but it was funny to watch. If your a mom or dad of a 5 -7 year old next time your there watch the mom's & dad's around you ....

So after the show was over and we got done laughing at our old selfs . We headed to go eat lunch at Backlot Express

James had

Alexis Had

Jason & I both got

It was good
While Eating James jumps on the floor and i yell
Me "james what are you doing "
James come up
James " Mommy is this my tooth "
I look and yep its his tooth My baby lost his 1st tooth
Me " James It is your tooth open your mouth let me see "
He shows me and put a paper towel in the spot to get the little blood to clot and it does and jason says smile..

So we take a few more photo's because its a big day ...

James smiles his toothless smile so proud

James " But will the tooth fairy come to disney how will she find me ?"
Me " tinker bell will tell her how to find you , if your worried we will leave a note on our hotel room door "

So we get done eatting and its time to go ride star tours which was only a 10 min wait the kids love this ride ..

Then James & Alexis Played

Then it was time to go see the Muppets

But when we get there we see this

So we checked under the mat

got the key and went on in ...Hee hee Very funny huh ...


But guess who we see inside ??

ok the kids didn't get it too

after the show , We went outside and james wanted his photo taken again

then we went to see kim

James really didn't want anything to do with kim but Alexis loved it and I love this photo

Then it was time to go see the Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade

then james saw his favorite guy yes my son is a fan of the dark side

then we saw them so we knew it was over

Part 2 MGM
we get done watching the Parade and we head to see Sounds Dangerous believe it or not that ends up being Alexis favorite thing she just loved it.
then we went to see the stunt show
It was ok .. I don't think i would sit and watch it again .. But watching the kids face was pretty funny

then on the way back out we saw woody

it made james' day, because he just loves woody

then we went to see that rat
no not mickey ... the other rat

We didn't even see this movie I wasn't sure why we stopped to see him

By this time it was time to go eat
we had adr's at 50's Prime Time Café
we get there and wait .....

and wait ....
and wait ....
I tell Alexis act like your watching TV

do you see her she closed her eyes then i say Alexis come on act like your watching it

do you see what she did ... she is a silly silly girl anyways we are finally called back to our table and we are lucky we get a tv table

but our server is slow and i mean slow .... and a little on the rude side not funny like the other servers around us
jason & I both started off with

which we both loved ...

james & Alexis both started off with

which they both loved and they are not soup kids

then jason got

which he loved

which i hated ... it was gross ... sorry
James got

which he loved
Alexis got

which she loved
Overall the meal was just OK the wait staff was slow and ours was not fun at all he seem more rude then fun ...
the likely hood of us eatting here again is slim ...
so before we left they took james color page and put it here

By the time we left out of there we had missed Fantasmic
So we headed to the bus and headed back to the resort


We Place a note on our door that said
Dear tooth fairy
James lost his 1st tooth today at MGM
please leave money or disney toys
thank you

We went to sleep

next time ( Animal Kingdom & epcot) but will we end up all wet !! i guess you will find out next time ....
