My kitty has died

I have had Micah since he was a baby, he was my very first cat as an adult. He seized and collapsed on the floor and I took him to the emergency vet, they said he had a heart attack and that he was going. It was one of the worst moments I have ever experienced in my life.

I kissed him goodbye and cradled him when he was gone. I can't breathe now, I can't stop crying. It hurts so much.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My kitty, Annabelle, died last Friday. She had been in the hospital with renal failure. I actually thought she was getting better, but then the vet called and she had taken a very bad turn for the worse. I brought her home for a little while, but then had to take her back and have her put down. It was horrible, I hurt so bad. I took the weekend and just mourned and cried for her. She was so much my girl. She was MY cat. I buried her in the back yard under a rose bush, and bought a real pretty blue gazing ball to put on her grave. I can see it from the house, and it has brought me comfort in this last week.

Take comfort in knowing that you were with your kitty at the end, loving him like he needed to be. It will get a little easier as the days pass. I'll be thinking of you.
