drum set can we say h-e-double-drumsticks no!

wii - nope, our deal was honors at least 2 of the 4 semesters for a wii, he missed this semester by 3 classes. Better luck next time buddy.

four wheeler - uh, that would be a no again. Not mature enough.

bow and arrows - on the fence about these. He loves archery, has a natural talent for it but they could be used as weapons.

R/C car or plane - has a $200 truck from last xmas that is never used. So that would be a no as well.

poor kid is going to get nothing. LOL

DS8
piggy bank - doable

backugan - :thumbsup2

medals - I need to hit up some antique stores. Should be easy enough

spiderwick books - no problem

a new, not so easy to break, camera - last years gift from Santa broke, white gleaming light in the middle of the pic. I need to send it out to get fixed but I might be able to get him a new camera. He is my shutterbug in the family.

pokemon Diamond video game - doable

DS7
lots and lots of little and big bakugan - working on it

3 robots got one last xmas

Tinkerbell and the lost Treasure DVD - not due out until next fall

naruto head bands - um, no. we have one and I can't stand it.

3 bug vacuums - nope

2 papillon dogs - cute, but yappy. So that would be a no.

lots of rainbow monkeys - has a stuffed monkey that is multi colored, one is enough

7 brothers and sisters - :rotfl2: yeah, sure.

1 kitten - not on your life!

lots and lots of gold - sure, let me pluck some off the gold tree in the backyard

lots and lots of real pixie dust - Oh Tinkerbell!!!!!

4 hamsters in 1 cage - um, no.

Stanley and the Magic Lamp book - now that I can handle!

Oh, I love my children!

:rotfl: Thanks for the laugh. By the way do you know where I can get a photo of the tooth fairy and a real reindeer? DD8 has that on her list. Along with a laptop, cell phone, hamster, red and white polka dot high heels and a lava lamp. I guess I can do the lava lamp -- the rest is a big fat NO!

DS6 wants bakugans and every dinosaur or animal toy that has ever been manufactured.

THanks goodness for DS3. I should be able to make one kid happy. He wants tools, a truck, and a race car.

He must be really really smart. He keeps refer to Santa as "she".

What is a bakugan?? Is this something that I should be on the look out for as it crosses the Atlantic and every child in the country wants one?

My neice, aged 6, has asked for:

A princess castle - to add to the the city she could currently build from the princess castles big and small she already has, that'd be a no

Horses/unicorns - she currently has a herd of the things, from barbie scale to tiny microscopic things, again, no

Fairys - this kid has fairys in ever colour of the rainbow, with big wings, small wings, glittery wings, shimmery wings - more than I can count - so no again

What she is getting from me:

A High School Musical storage box
A Disney princess plate, bowl and cutlery set from WDW
A few jigsaws

I don't have any children so these lists make me laugh.

My nephew(almost 4) though has asked my dad to make him a rocking buffalo for Christmas (instead of a rocking horse).

So my dad is making a rocking horse and my mom is making a buffalo mask and costume to put on the horse- since my dad couldn't find a pattern for a rocking buffalo (big surprise right).

Rebecca

The only thing on my boys' lists are
Eldest - Metal Dectector - FIL is getting

Little Bit - more droids & Clones (Star Wars), I guess because he doesn't have enough to re-enact any of the fight scenes. :confused3

That's it. It'll be a lean Christmas.

they are the "it" boy toy of the season. Mazda found one for me in the UK. They are these little driod type toys that roll up into a ball and when they hit metal, the toys pop open. You battle them like pokemon.

Oh grief, at least nephew is a bit too young for such things. We've bought him an Elmo/Cookie Monster guitar for his birthday (Dec 11th) - parents are gonna love us for that one.

AWM- have you seen those fight scenes? Surely you can't expect him to be happy until there at least 1000 troops on each side?? LOL!

:lmao: He would be happy with at least a hundred.

Hilarious!

DD wants American Girl stuff. She has the 2008's girl of the year so I think she wants some of her accessories before they go away.

DS wants GeoTrax and basically anything that resembles a car. There is some car that is anti-gravity and will drive up a wall, I really want to check it out.

Both kids lists are pretty do-able.

note to self:
Eldest needs metal to bury and "find"

Little bit needs droids, are these the little stubby ones?

Nope, he wants the battle droids of the Seperatists. The tall skinny ones that say "roger, roger". They are sooo funny in the cartoon series. I love them.

thanks for the reminder. I need to get her stockings replaced, they tore at the waist.
I also think I might buy my mom the Samantha doll since she will be retiring after the holidays, the doll not my mom.

Ah, got it. :thumbsup2

I love the lists! :lmao: When my DS was young, he used to come up with some really imaginative creations that he wanted for Christmas! This year's list is definitely a "dream" list because it's not happening.

This was actually his birthday list, but since he didn't get them for his birthday, he's moved them to his birthday list. He wants:

A car
A trip to New York City and tickets for the Broadway Show "In the Heights."

He knows he's not getting either one, but he's wishing!

Yep, DD wants Samantha as well. She's got enough of her own money that she has saved to buy it now, so that's probably what we are doing. Although I told her I would order it but she can't have it until she stops being so bossy to her brother. So she should get it in another 10-15 years.:lmao:

BAMB- I don't know if you need to order (or if you have a store nearby) from American Girl or not, but according to the website Samantha is backordered until Dec. 18th. If you use the code GIFTSHIP by Nov. 25th it's free shipping.

My MiL got his for us a few Christmases ago (yes my MiL buys DH and I toys for Christmas). What kid likes to open clothes under the tree?? And I am definitely a kid! :dance3:
Anyway, it is really a cool thing, but just don't get to close to it when it is going up. It often loses suction and falls and it could easily break a toe or worse if it hits someone. Also, make sure it climbs a wall with carpet under it, since you don't want it to hit hard floor and break its self.

thanks for the info Ashley, Nancy forwarded it to me. I am about 2 hours from the NYC store. I will order it online tonight and then just wait.

Thanks for the heads up!
