I have 3 ADR's for Boma and was going to cancel one of them for something else but the kids say, no!

I'm thinking Boma 3 times in 9 days is too much even though it is my favorite place. I'm thinking maybe the kids should try something else.

We are also eating at:
Le Cellier
Coral Reef
Biergarten
Kona Cafe
O'Hana
Mama Melrose

My kids are not into character meals. What else would be good for the kids at one of the Disney hotels since we don't have hopper passes? I have 2 of the 3 kids that would be eating off the kids menu.

Boma is our favorite, too, and we always make sure to eat there twice--once at the beginning of the trip and once at the end. We may even add a third trip this time for breakfast, but we'll see. We also have most of the same places that you do--you must have good taste;).

Judging by your other choices and the ages of your kids (since 2 are still on the kids' menu) I'd recommend Whispering Canyon Cafe. Good food, fun atmosphere (similar to 'Ohana), beautiful resort and a nice boat ride from MK.

Try to talk them into WCC it is suppose to be alot of fun. It's at the WLodge so you won't need park passes. The kids can order the all you can eat skillet and its better than most of the kids menues at other TS

We ate at the WCC last year and wasn't overly impressed. Maybe we were just tired and the place was really loud and the service really SLOW. My youngest fell asleep at the table.

We could maybe do something at Epcot and just eat 2 TS in one day since we'll be at Epcot 3 times. Any good places besides what I already have booked?

What ages are your kids? My DD's 3&6 liked SanAngle in mexico. We were sat close enough that we could see the boat ride and water. The food was also very good. My family really likes mexican food

What about a DTD resturant?? Regland road gets great reviews

I think going 2x would be good. Once at the beginning then at the end. Not sure what resturant I would suggest becuase of your boys ages but I must say that Spoodles has wonderful food! You may also want to try Jiko, I have not eaten there (yet) but I dont think I have ever heard a bad review, in fact the reviews are more than great!

I have 3 ressies myself for Boma. 2 for dinner and one for breakfast. Since we're staying at AKL it's convenient. But I haven't told my DS yet.:rolleyes1
Hope he's as enthusiatic about it as yours are.

How about Cape May Cafe for dinner. It is a great location to explore and a nice meal without characters.

Wow, three times in one trip... is Boma really that good? We've been toying with trying it out, but none of us are generally fans of buffets. (The only buffet we have planned for our trip is a Play and Dine breakfast for our two year old son.) I know buffets are easier with kids, but usually I find the food gets cold, dries out, or sits in too much grease. Is Boma that different from other buffets?

My 3 boys 9,7,6 loved it. Sure its corny, sure its unbearable (you will know what I mean after seeing the show) but it was just plain fun. We all enjoyed it and my 9 year old laughed the whole time. Food was tasty and the whole evening was memorable.

It's two TS credits but worth it in my opinion. We will be doing the HDDR on each trip now.

You aren't the only one who books their favs multiple times. We did 2 days disney, 7 day cruise and 2 days disney and we ate at Wolfgang Puck Express 3 times and Kona twice. We know what we like.

For our 14 day trip in Sept we have Kona 3 times, Boma 2, Cape May 2, LeCellier 3 times etc.

If you like it, you like it and enjoy it every time!

I was going to suggest the Sci Fi at MGM, too. Our kids love that place, and as a result, it's become a tradition for us to do lunch there at least once every trip.

If you don't like buffets, you might not like Boma. Both times I went it was almost right after it opened for dinner, and the food seemed to be pretty fresh, not cold and nasty. So if you want to try it, you might want to make an early ADR. It seems there's a pretty high turnover rate in there, so food is replenished pretty quickly, but at the end of the evening things certainly could be more stale. Personally, I think it's the best buffet at WDW.

My family loves dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. We ate dinner there twice in November. We also ate twice at Boma as my kids LOVE BOMA, Also! For refernce my children are 8, 6, 5 and 3. My husband and I also LOVE LTT!

On our last trip we did the following:

1) Hoop Dee Doo Review : Short pleasant boat ride over from Magic Kingdom. If on DDP, it's 2 TS credits. If out of pocket, get level 1 (near stage). We sat right next to the stage. The food was OK, but the show was a real hoot. We all really enjoyed it.

2) Whipering Canyon Cafe : Short pleasant boat ride over from Magic Kingdom. If on DDP, it's 1 TS credit. Fun atmosphere. Stick pony rides. Make sure you ask for ketchup and complain about you drink being too small.

BTW, Boma was our ultimate favorite place to eat.

I think you all have talked me into trying Boma. Maybe the Menu that is posted on the DIS Restaurant doesn't do the restaurant justice- but by reading it I don't get that it is the "the Best buffet in WDW". What am I missing?

The spices and flavors are great! I have picky eaters, but I convinced them to try different things. They loved it. It is now our #1 choice! :thumbsup2
