This is great so far so count me in. We did the DxDDP too and we loved it! I cant wait to hear what you thought of it. SO many people think it is too much food but it wasn't for us.

Sorry, Things have been crazy at work.

So still on Day 2

Thursday 4/17

We had appointments at the BBB. When I say we, I mean DD, DS, me and my SIL. unfortunately all those pictures are on Photo bucket. You would of gotten a GOOD laugh at my SIL and me.

here are a few of the kids. you can't really see the confetti in DS's hair.








Here we are waiting for our CRT ressies. DH, DD and DS



SO we go to our lunch ressie and the kids are told that they get to have their pictures with Cinderella.





The food was OK. I got the Turkey Foccacia I didn't really care about the food, I wanted to go so the kids could experience lunch in the castle.

The Princesses came right around.












So after lunch we were all exhausted so we went back to the hotel pool. I really like the pools at the POR and POFQ. they are not that deep. I think the deepest area is 4ft? Are all the hotel pools like that?

We had dinner ressies at Boatrights for 7:40. This was not a good experience. Even though we got there at 7:30, and they told us that they were cleaning off our table and it would be just a couple minutes, they gave our table of 9 away to a party of 7. and at 8pm when I checked again for the 3rd time (since they were supposed to only be cleaning the table) that's when they checked that we had arrived (you can see it on the slip they put on the table for the server)..I was not happy. They gave us a buzzer and we didn't get seated until 8:15!.

Our waitress was supposedly the best. if she was I didn't want to see the worst. She was really slow. The food was adequate.. Nothing great.. But, it took forever. My SIL and I both have worked in the restaurant business and know that you can have a bad night. MIL didn't care that we had ressies for breakfast a few days later. She complained to the manager and got the gratuity removed from our bill. There was not way I was leaving w/out tipping. waitress was slow but friendly. I said (in front of MIL) "I waitressed before, there is NO WAY I am walking out with out leaving her something" so my SIL and I each gave her 20.. Just the beginning of MIL complaints!


Next..Chef Mickey's and a LONG day at Epcot. dinner at Le Cellier.

Your daughter's hair and outfit was gorgeous! How in the world do you wash that stuff out??
Cute pics with the kids and princesses. How'd your DS do with all the princesses? That's one thing I'm afraid of having a DS, that he might not go for the castle stuff.

It wasn't too bad to wash out. There was a hair piece. when I took that out her hair was in a braid. there is a ton of hair spray and gel. we had to wash it a couple times. DS's came out with one wash.
he was fine with the Princesses. He is 6 and he didn't get excited like DD did but he is easy going and was a good sport and had no problem standing next to them for Pics.

Sorry about your experience at Boatwrights. Have you eaten there before without a problem? We have our first dinner scheduled there, but it will only be 4 of us.

Me too.....

We grew up in MA and left it 2 years ago. NO DD to be found here! When we go to Disney World we take a trip to get the delicious hot chocolate & munchkins! Rental car always a must.

our ressies were at 10:30. We met SIL, BIL, MIL, FIL and nephew there. we check in and they took us over for a picture..for some reason I can't remember who ended up with it.
We get to the table and the Characters were coming around.
Goofy was 1st but the picture didn't come out.

then came








Today we decided to go to Epcot. So on the monorail we go. We have to go to the transportation center and then get on another monorail to Epcot.

This day it was VERY hot! MIL pretty much complained the whole day that she was melting..With all the makeup she put on, it made her look like it! Even though on the first day we arrived she realized that WDW doesn't really do Iced Coffee, she still asked for one about every hour..

Your children are beautiful.

As for the iced coffee, on our last trip in January, my sister had us looking all night for a 24 hour dunkin donut. She was dyin without her iced latte.
