My Job!

I started a new job back in March 2003 for a Commercial Real Estate company after being laid off of my previous job after 5 years. Some of you might remember me talking about this in another thread but what happened is another Real Estate company is merging with mine. There were 3 of us in the office..the property manager, an administrative assistant and me. Well the woman who was the admin was told she was being let go. I was so upset because now I have to be by myself with my boss who no one likes cuz he is sooo mean most of the time and talks down to you. Not to mention this women is soooo nice and is so helpful and I would be lost without her. I was going to have to learn the new companies systems etc and learn the admins job ontop of it all. it has been really frustrating lately ......BUT today I just found out that they might keep the admin on for 60 days to see if they really need 3 people in our office. Now part of that is great and part of that Im really worried about. I am so happy that this woman may still have a job but the downside of it is after the 60 days they can let either one of us go and I have more of a chance of losing my job in 60 days now. I know that sounds sooo selfish but on the other hand I am happy that she might be able to stay.
