My HTF Lego secret...

I called Legoland Carlsbad CA - the HP Hogwarts Express & Diagon Alley are on the way for DS's B-day *April* I ordered another HTF set a couple years ago. Shipping's kinda high; $18 for the 2, but I didn't pay tax... *Here's their website, sorry I don't have the exact # I called...

FYI - amazon has the alley right now for the retail price.

I didn't realize you could have Legoland ship it! That's pretty cool.

As a FYI, I ordered Diagon Alley from lego.com the other day, it said (and says) there's a estimated ship date of 1/26. It shipped the day I ordered it. So apparently their website is not correct.

What's also interesting to me is that the price on amazon that day was nearly $200 (I'm not sure they were selling it directly like they are now though), so apparently everyone thought it was pretty much gone from Lego...now, however, it seems amazon itself has received a shipment.

I hated paying shipping with lego.com, though! But I was getting nervous about it being discontinued, so I did it. Cheaper than buying it once it HAS been discontinued... (hubby bought a Harry/Hedwig/luggage cart minikit that's discontinued for the low budget price of over $16 the other day, LOL...)

Target has the Hogwarts for 50% off right now. Call your local Target and ask if they Have 204-00-374 in stock. Of course, chances it will be in stock aren't great, but I did find one a few days ago.

And Diagon Alley is not discontinued and won't be for a while longer. Hard to find likely due to the Christmas rush - a lot of toys are hard to find in January.

And, also, all LEGO retail stores ship domestically and accept phone orders.

We are still in need of Diagon Alley and Hagrids Hut so I will take a look.

Funny.. for Christmas ds got Lego from everyone. So he ended up with the castle, the castle add on, The Burrow, Quidditch, and The Hogwarts Express.

Not one of those sets came with Ron Weasley. Someone explain to me how the castle or the Burrow didn't include Ron

So we've got to get Diagon Alley to get a Ron

ETA) Nevermind! Just checked. We have the Hogwarts Express in our closet to give him for his birthday.. Ron is in that set. So only 2 more months to have a Lego Ron.
