My horrible not so goo Expensive Sunday drive

I spung ahead Like I was suspossed to, actually got my rear out of bed and moving early, was on my way to work. got a mile from work and met a deer!!!!!!


I'm ok I continued on to work worked my 12 hour shift than went to last place I like going the State Patrol branch to file accident report.

Monday morning I went back to work and gave my DH of of 6mos the chore of taking my car to get estimate done.

Guess I'm not going anywhere this weekend No Chicago pizza for me. No dis meet either.

Oh man Juli I am so sorry to hear that If I were driving I'd offer you a ride up there but this time I am taking the easy way out and flying. I know that feeling quite well though... happened to Luis' car (although hit by another car) in January... we were lucky and my car was good to go though for the weekend. Wish the same could have been true for you. I'll miss seeing you and your sweetie this weekend

Once I get ok from Ins. Co my car will cost about 1900.00 to fix and I'll be without for about a week. My poor saturn

Just wanted to send my sympathies, as a fellow Michigan(der?). Up here in the UP we pretty much plan on hitting a deer a year, seriously. Check with your ins. co. about carrying rental coverage, mine's only $25/every 6 months, and will pay for your rental for as long as needed. We hit a deer in Dec, did 6K in damage, and drove the rental for 7 weeks!
