We stayed there Saturday night (8/21). While I was not impressed by the rooms so much (I did love how big they were), I was impressed by the mini waterpark and how close to the park it actually is. My kids loved, loved, loved the waterpark and played for hours on Sat. Just seeing them so happy made it worth it! The hotel had great customer service. The rooms could be a little updated and the beds were comfy, but we had a room right next to the freeway that had the 2 windows on the top and the moon light came in on one side and the light from the outside on the other. I woke up a few times a night not from the freeway (although you can hear it, it didn't bother us) but from how uncomfortable the pillows were (note to self, bring your own pillows next time!). But for $59/night AP rate - it was well worth it. We would definitely stay there again if we got that rate, but if it was higher, I'd probably just go to the Candy Cane.

Disneyland was pretty dead on Sunday for an August day, but it was fine by us! :wizard: I wish I had taken more pictures, but I kept forgetting to.

Thanks for the great review! We haven't stayed at hojos yet but i would like to try it sometime just to see what all the hubbub is about.

I with you, we are going to try it out in October for the first time. We have never stayed within walking distance so I know we will love that and 59 a night you almost cant go wrong.

$59 is the standard room. Although I have not stayed in one of those rooms I really like the $69 deluxe rooms in building 2. I liked the nqq2 rooms in building 2 than the $79 premier rooms with the disney view. The rooms in building 1 does seem a little bit outdated with the layout of the room. However in Nov we will be trying out the new kid's suite which I am really looking forward to. Next time I'd recommend trying the Deluxe room for $69. It has a pool view, but even when people are at the pool screaming and having fun when the sliding door is closed I don't even hear anything.
