This is the third night he's been missing.
Tif, my beautiful long-haired black cat, was adopted from a no-kill animal shelter about six years ago. Apparently, he had been at the shelter for about 6 months before he came to live with us. He was scared and shy at first and fought with my other cats. He became kind of a bully.
However, with A LOT of patience and a lot of love, Tif (short for Turd Ferguson from his mean days
), became such a sweet cat and a mama's boy. He followed me around like a puppy dog. My other cats grew to love him and he loved them back. He became such an affectionate little fellow and loved to lay on my desk while I DISed every day. Now I'm sitting here with a heavy heart. Tif is not here with me. DISing is not the same.
I let TIf outside the other night like I always do. He usually hangs around our house or my neighbor's house. They like him too. Anyway, a thunderstorm was approaching our city so I tried calling for him. He had been outside for about an hour. I couldn't find him. I knew at that moment that something was wrong. It wasn't like him to not run to me. The storm came through. I could only hope he was safe, hiding out somewhere. I was up most of the night calling and looking for him. It's been three days now.
I've called the animal shelter, gone door to door, called local vets, and put up flyers. I don't know what else to do. I am so heartbroken and I can't stop crying. He may be "just a cat" to some people but he's my little buddy. Please send some good thoughts this way in hope that he'll find his way back home. Thanks!

I hope he comes home soon.
Praying that Tif will be back with you soon, very soon.
