My HEADLINE was on JAY LENO last night!!

WOW! This really brightened up a fairly long string of yucky days! DH and I always watch Jay Leno, especially on Monday nights for Headlines and we glance at our papers to see if anything stands out. Nothing ever does!

A few weeks ago I saw a funny wedding name (Leno does those sometimes in Headlines) and sent it in! Well, last night it was ON the show! I was SOOO Happy!!! It was the Hay/Saylor wedding! Yippeeee! Anyone see it?

I felt so FAMOUS in my own bedroom! For at least 5 minutes!

I saw it! How neat! I always love the headlines section. The funniest I ever saw was when he held up a menu and said, "I don't know why this restaurant went under. It sounded so good" The name of the eatery???? "Sam and Ella's" ("hey..want to go pick up some Sam and Ella's??)

I remember once I was reading in the police reports section of our local paper about how someone broke into a restaurant and stole thousands of dollars worth of steaks. Just a couple inches down the exact same page was a tiny little add that said, "Looking for steaks??? We've got em!" We got such a laugh but I never got around to sending it in.

My dad collects food for a non-profit soup kitchen and he gets all kinds of weird stuff... one day he came home from work with something he had to keep (he doesn't do it often, I swear!!). It was a package of chicken soup with a big picture of a chicken on the front but it wasn't called chicken soup, it was called "C*ck Flavored Soup". (another name for a chicken)

He wanted to send this in, but it's just so funny that he had to keep it...

No wonder people were giving it away!!
