I need a Disney fix BAD! :wizard:

My kids are driving me crazy. There's still another month of school and we all have spring fever. My husband is on deployment (but close to home, so we see him 1-2 times per month). I have Get-Out-Of-Town-Itis so bad!

And then Disney, sensing my vulnerability, sends me a reminder email that my time is limited to take advantage of the Florida Resident 4-Day Dream Passes... "and don't forget our discounted room rates!!" Out of curiosity, I checked 4 nights 2 weeks from now (4 nights gets you the best discount). 4 nights at Pop, $329. I could add 1-day tickets (to upgrade to the Resident tickets) and the QSDP for a total of $763. It would cost me $50 to upgrade to the Dream passes for my sons and me.

Then I snap back to reality and think "YOU ARE CRAZY!" We were just there in November (and last May, :cool2:). I remind myself that my kids drive me crazy at home by myself, what makes me think it would be better at WDW? Well because, let's face it, everything is better at WDW! :rotfl2:

I'm planning a trip to see family in the Northwest over the summer, which will cost a lot (3 plane fares, rental car). We just had a short vacation in April with my husband in Atlanta. In my head I know it is irresponsible to spend $1000 on another vacation, but I'm tired of being responsible.

I can't tell anyone else about this. I know I'm crazy and I know I won't do it, but I WANT TO!

Is there a cure???

HI! I see you have been married 13 years. We just celebrated our 13 year wedding anniversary at Disney a few days ago!!:lovestruc

Well, I am pretty sure you want us to say GO FOR IT...and I gotta say, that is indeed a pretty good deal! I certainly won't talk you out of it because you went last Nov and last May...I truly believe several Disney vacations a year should be REQUIRED for any Florida Disney fan.

The only thing I will say negative is...just realize you WILL have that post WDW hangover the day you return home...and it is BRUTAL! So, it depends on what you have going on in your life, financially and socially. I was pretty bummed the day I got back into town!!!

Also, the more trips I take...the more I want to go! It really is a sickness, isn't it?

Good luck with your decision. Oh, and post a trip review(cuz I am pretty sure I know what your decision is gonna be, LOL!):rolleyes1

I can't help you out with that, I'm feeling the same way with a cruise. It's so hard not to just book it, as the prices for January 2011 are pretty darn good right now.

I don't think I can help. I feel your pain. I know what it is like the the DH is out of town and your home alone with the kids. I too infact plan little trips, mostly day trips when I know DH is gong to be gone. Maybe you should try and find something closer to home.
