My guide hates me....

I am fully aware that there are DVC Guides who email their clients. I am simply quoting DVC policy that they do not allow their Guide's to conduct business via email.

There are also people who drive over the 55 mph speed limit, LOL! ;)

That being said, I would not personally put out on the internet if my Guide were emailing back and forth with me. Since it is policy....

The point of my post here was to reiterate that we do not allow publishing of Guide's names, initials or other identifying data in order to establish that they may "Hate" someone or do not meet up with expectations. Emailing cannot be an expectation since it is against DVC policy. Personal attacks are clearly against DIS Posting Guidelines. Thank you everyone...
 
We also have a guide that never responds back! We were there in Dec. and bought BLT, he wasn't there and we had to go with another guide. Have to say he was more helpful than our origial guide ever was. There was some mix up with the paperwork and THE NEW GUIDE staightened it out for us after we called our guide about a dozen times. We are thinking of changing ours too!
 
I am convinced of that now!!!!!!

I emailed him last week asking about an extension on my developer points.......he never replied.

I called and left message, no answer!!!

Called MS today to see if they could help - they transferred me to him directly! I told him I was P****D off with no response from him and checked to make sure he had actually got my emails. His answer.

Oh yeah - I got them!

He will look into it now and get back to me - but I won't hold my breath!

OMG - I can't believe him!!!!!

My guide DIS likes (hate is such a strong word) YOU too - because you didn't buy from her.

I DIS like you because you are going to WDW in 2 months.

You should ask for a new guide.
 

Count me in as having a dud for a guide. Never liked him in all these years. He rarely responds to calls and when he does, he INSISTS on using my home phone despite specific REPEATED messages to use my cell phone (with # always clearly given).
I finally called MS and asked for my home phone number to be deleted from my account. Maybe that will help him get the number right. :confused3

And all this time I thought I was just 'not getting' it somehow - so many people here seemed to love their guides. Thanks for the thread.
