My Green Beret "special" Special Forces Brother called this morning!!!

I have not heard from my brother in over a month. He is serving with his Special Forces unit in an "undisclosed country" and will be coming home soon. I also don't know what "soon" is, but he did tell me that if I were to write to him, he wouldn't get the letter!!! I am so thrilled. They have made true friends in that country. He was thanked repeatedly for his "sacrifice" and was told repeatedly how sorry they were for what happened on Sept 11. He feels that they have not only made a difference but have changed the lives of these people. They are gracious, hospitable and despite their dire poverty, willing to share what they have as a token of appreciation. They have had war for 23 years, now they have peace. I just pray for a safe return for my brother and every other soldier proudly serving our great nation.

Wow....that's great news. The BIL of a good friend of mine is also a Green Beret in an "undisclosed country"....and he will be coming home very soon too...I wonder if they might be in the same unit?????
