Oh my gosh..

I would literally KILL myself if I lost my best friend!

I feel SOOOOOOO sad for you. I have lost tons of people in my lifetime. And my lifetime...is short.

I found out just a few days before my grandmother died. She had cancer. She died December 16th, 2001. Her name was Sandra, and I miss her dearly.

I hope your friend gets better.

OMG Kayla I am so sorry.

When I read this,tears came to my eyes. I have never been in this situation but my advice is to just to be with her when you can and just to continue having fun. I am sure she want's to live her life to the fullest,so help with it. Try to make her laugh everyday and always give her a hug when you leave her.

But I was crying reading that. Because I was putting myself in your position and realizing that if that was my best friend, I wouldn't be able to handle it.

I'm sorry I can't help. And I'm sorry this happened. I'll pray to make sure your friend gets to live her life without any problems and that nothing happens. PM me if you want to talk. This is just terrible and I'm sorry.

EDIT: I can't help but wonder if it's one of those "Medical Mysteries" where strange things just happen to people's health.

well i'll pray for her
just remember God has a reason for all he does, if she dies that means she lived out her purpose in life
God will make the right decesion i promise
i think its great that she told you because that way you will know before she dies
but yeah i would suggest spending as much time with her as possible
and treat her just the same even though it might be hard
oh take lots of pictures of her and video tape her talking
that way you can look back at the tape and hear her voice
i wish you the best of luck as for you and all your friends
oh i would tell my mom if it were me because this is something major

I am really, really sorry about this Kayla.
I could not even imagine, if it was a random kid in my personal development class, let alone my own best friend.
I really hope she has a nice few days with you and your friends, and hopes she has longer than expected.
When I started reading this, I was expecting, a month, two, three, a year. But never 6 days.
I know saying sorry, will never bring her back once she's gone, but I'd like you to know, that if you need to talk, I'm more than willing to listen.

I feel bad that she doesn't want you to tell anyone. Because if she never said that maybe you could go talk to your guidance counseler (sp?) (I mean, you could do that anyway but yeah.) That's probably what I would do, as well as talk to my parents. Because if something happened to her, I'm sure your guidance counselers would want you to come to them..So maybe go talk to them.

Yeah alex that's why we were a little skeptical when she told us.

But that's what the doctor told her, I didn't really get to ask her about it since I had to go to class right after she gave me the note. But I don't want to bring it up, it'll just make her feel bad I'm afraid. I'm most likely taking my camera to school tomorrow and take our pictures with everyone and just goof around.

Yeah, thats why I was like all of a sudden?!
But yeah you should take your camera, I love taking my camera to school except if administrators see them they take them away and stuff.

Oh wow, I'm so incredibly sorry. That story brought tears to my eyes. I can't even imagine if something like that happened to a loved one of mine.
