I am so sorry about your DGM you and your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I know exactly what you are going through. I took care of my DGM for about 3 years before she passed,I was with her everyday and could not leave her. I swear I dont know how I made it through that but I did and it has made me a much stronger person. I know that she would not want me to sit around and cry over her but it still hard sometimes.

Please please know that if you need someone to talk to I am here to listen anytime.

Will they let your Dh come home?I dont know how that works but I know that my DH was my rock dont know what I would have done without him.

Tina, we are dealing with this too with our son. With him being so far away (Military) AND with little Hayden about to enter the world (yet tonight), he cannot come home for his grandma's funeral. I will pray for you when it comes time to tell your wonderful Matt.

Tina, I am so so sorry for your loss. I was never around my Memere much when I was growing up so I was not blessed with that unconditional loving relationship, yet I was devastated when she passed on. I cannot imagine your pain upon losing such a loving woman. I'll keep your beloved Granny along with you and Matt are in my prayers.
