My grandfather

I just had to share this, even though there is nothing I can do, but my grandfather is going in for emergancy surgery in the next hour to attempt to fix a hernia. He's 87 and when he went to the doctor before for a consultation for the surgery, his cardiologist didn't think he would make it through surgery. The doctors think there maybe a blockage and it may be gangronous.

He was fine earlier today, but his hernia had popped out, so my dad tried to help him get it back in and when he couldn't he took him to the ER. I'm very scared right now, but I have to try to get to bed since I may have to work both of my jobs tomorrow night.

I'm hoping for the best. Thank you for reading.

Just a quick update:

He made it through surgery fine, however took a turn for the worst overnight. He's now in ICU on a non-invasive ventillator (I may have spelled that wrong but I"m still very tired). That is all I know at this point. I'm very tired and I'm at work and all I really want to do is go to sleep.

Thank you all for your kind words. He is doing much better. He's awake and alert. He had some liquids tonight, which is good. I think he's on the road to recovery, which is a very good thing.
