I got three job offers today.

Academy Sports (sporting good store)
Calico County (local restaurant)
Girls Inc (like the Boys and Girls club, except just girls. ...Daycare sorta)

And I'm actually contemplating taking one of them. So of course, I turn to you guys for advice. What do you think I should do?

Well... it depends on what you like to do, and what your interests are.
If you like sports, the first one is good, and if you like kids, the last one is good, and if you like food, the restaurant is good.
So really, I think you should decide on what you'd like to do more, and what you would be interested in doing.

I think it would be so much fun to work at a sporting goods store.
Only if you really liked sports though.
Otherwise you would get burned out from all the crazy coaches and obsessive parents.
But it would probably be a pretty easy going job.

Having that job could be a big advantage to you if you do go that route.

Exactly why I needed help. I really dislike working with food (yes, whiney me) and when these 3 offers came along I thought I should take it.

Well okay, this is where I am.

If I wanted the job at the restaurant I am supposed to go in today. But I'm a big clumsy freak and would be a horrible waitress. I think I've definitely ruled this one out.

I'm supposed to call Academy Sports this morning so she can set up an interview.

I'm supposed to call Girls Inc this morning so she can have a chit chat with me.

Academy is a pretty cool store.
The one we have near me has alot of shoes and sporting clothing (Nike, adidas, etc.)
Though I wouldn't really like to work there as I'm not all that into sports.

I'd most likely pick Girls Inc. because as others have said I love kids.
I think I'd have the most fun there.

Well you seem to be in high demand.
Honestly, it depends on your tolerance.
Would you like to work in a sports store, better yet do you have enough knowledge to work there?
Would you like to work in a restaurant serving food?
Would you like to work with kids at a daycare?
Honestly, knowing you I'd choose the daycare.

You really could pick any of them, your options are completely open, but like SOnya said, it would REALLY benefit you to work @ Girls Inc, because it would give you expirience in the type of environment that you may be in once you're a social worker!!

The only job offers I ever get is for babysitting kids in my neighbourhood!

Well, my mom's client offered me the job at Academy Sports. We were talking about how I had the interview for Calico County.

I applied a couple months ago for the restaurant and just got a call the other day offering me a hostess position.

A friend told me they were hiring at Girls Inc so I called up the director and chatted with her. I thought it'd be a great oppurtunity, me wanting to work with kids and all. So she told me to come in Wednesday and talk with her.

This morning Shoe Carnival called me about the application I had put in back in early March. For an interview Monday at 2:00 (I stupidly called back and asked what time it was, lol)

While I was working at CiCis someone came in and told me to go work with them at come carhop. Uhhh, no thank you. I could just see myself walking out to a car and dumping the tray all over myself.

I really really don't wanna work in food. I have my reasons for wanting/needing to change jobs as well.
