We just got back today from a wonderful week in Disney! We are beyond depressed that we had to leave but are already planning another trip.
My girls received several "dreams" during our trip. Nothing huge (like the coveted night in the castle or anything....) but still magical nonetheless. On 1/21 we were in Epcot and my oldest was walking along staring at her lanyard (she is OBSESSED with her pins and pin trading) when a Dream Team member approached her struck up a conversation about pins. She then gave my daughter a YOAMD lanyard and two pins. HUGE for my daughter and very magical for all of us.
We were at the Animal Kingdom on 1/22 and decided to go to Rafiki's Planet Watch and the petting zoo while we waited for our safari fastpass time to arrive. We were waiting to board the train to the petting zoo and a castmember pulled both of my girls out of line to be "conductors". They got to blow the train whistle, play with all of the controls, etc. They were then presented with a YOAMD certificate and their names were announced (and applause was solicited). Again, very cute and very special for them.
On 1/24 my youngest daughter was scouting out the souvenirs outside of the Playhouse Disney stageshow at MGM (she is a bit of a Jojo and Bear fan) and was carrying around a bag of Bear figures and a box of Jojo figures. A dream team member asked her if she liked Jojo and Bear and Mia babbled some 2 year old response... the dream team member gave her the box of Jojo figures. BIG moment for a 2 year old. She got a certificate for that one too!
Anyway, just thought I'd share. It's cute, the things that they do. It makes a magical trip that much more special.
