My "free" AA ticket is costing $l50.

It will cost $l50 for me to switch my dd's AA ff miles over to my ff acct. Neither one of us have enuf miles separely to earn a free award ticket.

AA charges $150 for this electronic transfer of miles. Wow!


I would say forget it, but most tickets from my small airport in Mn. cost at least $300 to fl. So, I'm saving about half the cost of the ticket.


What do other airlines charge to combine ff miles between accounts? Anyone done this?

A lot of them won't do it at all so I guess you are lucky that AA will.

I'm with Continental's OnePass program and right now they're letting you transfer points between accounts at a rate of $5 for every 500 miles transferred (minimum 2,500 point transfer).
