For those of you here that are not a part of
other boards, you may have not ever seen
my pin sets that I have framed!

Being in school full time and having a full
time job, I don't have as much time to spend
framing now, however, I recently updated my
pages... so check them out!

each page has a link at the bottom to the next page
and the third page now has a link to my Disney room
and other collectibles around my house!

Awesome!

Now I want to frame more of mine (currently I have all my WDW 01 pins, the Cast Atlas set, and the WDW Walt History set framed)

Now I want to do more- course my space is oh quite limited...

To Goofy4Pluto, wonderful framed pins. I need to ask you how do you do this. I have tried with little success. My main problem is how do you get the back on the frame with all the pin backs sticking out. When I try to put pins in frames the back are too long and I cannot put the backing on the frame. Another problem I have is the pins do not sit straight. They seem to spin around. Are you glueing them to the mat? I would appreciate your response. Thanks,
Linda

Very nice... Thank you for sharing.

I really enjoyed looking at your website with all of your pictures of your framed sets! Your walls look rather familiar at times with all of the framed sets LOL!! Thanks for sharing them! I always love looking at what other people do with framing pins!

Thanks so much for sharing your pin framing ideas with everyone. I really appreciate it. I have a question about framing the lanyard license plate pins. I got all of these last year when I was down in WDW and always wanted to frame them but not sure what would be a good backing. Any suggestions?

Linda

Linda...
perhaps an Autopia car (auto theme)
or road signs...
or you could find clipart of the Autopia
road signs that came out a couple
years ago...
there are also scrapbook pages available
that look like a bunch of highway signs...

or, take a picture of the back of a car
(any car, yours, or a different one)

resize the photo so that the license
plate in the picture is the same size
as your favorite license plate pin...
then put the picture in the frame with
your favorite in that area, then stick
the others around the perimeter of the
frame surface...

those would be the things I'd consider...
just off the top of my head!

I PM'ed you the other day.... did you get that?

Extreme accolades here!!!!

Inspirational.

Please post how you fit the pins into the frame -- both front and back.

PS It's great to see a thread about PINS on this board.

I am working on a how to page...
I'll post back here on the boards somewhere
when I get that all up and running...
the next two weekends I should have some
time do get some framing done
before finals start!
While I'm doing that, I'll work on some
how to photos!

Sorry I didn't write back earlier. Yes, thanks I received your email an have made copies to bring home and figure out how to frame some of my pin sets. I love your ideas of using the scrapbooking pages with road signs (I found this at Michaels - I also found scrapbooking pages that look like maps - although I guess I could use a real map - maybe one of orlando). I also love the idea of placing the pins on a photo of a real car. I might have to try that one.
Thanks again,
Linda
