Well, after a few different incarnations, this is how my Disney Store Wreath set turned out. I used a black shadowbox frame, cut the red matting from a sheet of craft foam and punched out the Mickey's for accent and backed with a little scrap of green foam. The pins are mounted on a piece of black, glitter felt. Hope this gets everyone's creative juices flowing. Have fun and Happy Holidays from your pin pal...Disneyboy

I like your Idea.... How about with a favorite Xmas family style picture in the center.... Or a Happy Holidays tag under the wreath... But I like the idea of just using a christmas color around the border..

Anyone notice the center part looks like Oggie Boggie ran through it? I need to get out more.

Oogie Boogie......hmmmm.....I may need to go get the rest of the set. :D :)

I would not do too much as that would take away from the pins. A B&W Walt in the center would be nice or maybe the castle all decked out for the holidays.

I have not yet seen the set but what if you floated the wreath on a red mat, surounded by a green mat with a circular opening. This circle mat can be made for you at any custom framing shop. Also ask them for some scrap foam core, you layer it between the two mats wear it cannot be seen. It give depth to the pins, keeps the glass from touching them and makes it look a little 3 D. Then you can frame it however you like. Just be sure to know your frame size when having the mat cut.

Also,.... a little tip for those of you who frame your own pins, most custom shops throw away lots and lots of scrap mat pieces. They will donate them to local groups, so if you can find one and give them a sob story or two you can get a nice selection of matting to pick from for backgrounds.

Guess where I work? LOL! The j0b is not really very cost effective with this hobby.

Have fun!

Cindy, are the mats acid-free & lignin-free (or however you spell that word :) )?

Nice Job, I love the new sparkly felt that they have now. It really makes those Christmas pins all the more Christmassy.(sp)
