We had breakfast at the resort & this time I had a bowl of cereal. The funny thing about staying at Pop Century is when you have cereal, they actually sell Pops. They don't sell Pops at the other resorts or do they? We decided to go to Hollywood Studios for the day.
We took the bus to Hollywood Studios & the first thing we did after going through security is go straight to Star Tours because the last time we tried to get on this ride it had a long wait. Star Tours is a ride simulator based on the Star Wars movies. I love the ride but Louis thinks its a boring ride. After Star Tours, we went to Muppets Vision 4D.
Muppets Vision 4D is still listed as a 3D movie. I sat in the back with Louis this time. I prefer being in the front & in the middle because the effects are better. After Muppets, we walked around for awhile.
We walked to the area where Toy Story Mania was being done because I wanted to meet some cars from the movie Cars. I got to meet Mater. Mater is a tow truck & he was adorable. He would honk every time I said something to him. I don't know where the other car was but I was hoping to meet him. Oh Well. Maybe next time.
I went into the Honey, I Shrunk The Kids Movie Set Adventure. I found it to be quite boring. After the movie set Adventure, we shared a popcorn. I usually don't care for popcorn but for some reason this popcorn was really good.
We went to Graumann's Chinese Theatre & looked at the foot & hand prints on the sidewalk, then we rode on the Great Movie Ride again. It's a ride where you ride through award winning movie scenes. It's still a great ride but it needs to be updated with other movies.
After the Great Movie Ride, we went to Walt Disney: One Man's Dream. Its a movie about how Walt Disney got his start. It is a really nice movie & it never gets old. It may bring back memories for the adults.
At this point we decided to go find a seat for the Block Party Bash. I enjoyed it so much the last time, we wanted to see it again. I sat on a bench & this time we were between Monster's Inc & A Bugs Life. There is a lot of good music & dancing going on that it's really hard to sit still.
After the Block Party Bash, we had to take a boat over to the Yacht & Beach Club for our dinner reservations at Cape May Cafe. Jim met us at the Beach Club & since we were early, he toured us around the Yacht & Beach Club. Some of the places looked familiar because Louis & I toured some of the area in December. When we got back to the Cape May Cafe, our table was ready so we sat down. The food was delicious. I even had a salad & that was delicious. I would go here again.
We all wanted to go to EPCOT to see BJ Thomas so Louis & I took the boat & Jim walked. BJ Thomas was really bad on the first night. After the concert we had to find a spot for Illuminations.
After Illuminations, we went to the Pop Century resort. Jim met us there so we could show him Hour Glass Lake & Generation Gap Bridge. We took him to our room so he could check his email on my laptop but for some reason it wasn't working. We found out later that his password is case sensitive.
