Hi everyone! This is my first trip report and this was my first trip to wdw. :rotfl: In my trip we planned to go to the coast, celebration, vegetarian restaurants, and wdw. This was a very good vacation, we met many interesting CMs at wdw. Stay tuned in to read more. First up, meet the cast. I hope the photos work, it could be a disaster!

Me: Hi, I'm in the center of this pic. I am a petite almost 18 year old. I have been vegetarian since birth and don't plan on changing. I have been visiting disneyland since I was a baby and have a LOT of good memories. For years I have been begging, pleading and making deals so i could visit wdw, but i could tell it would probably never happen if i didn't earn the money myself, so what did i do? I got a job, and then two. I got jobs cleaning and cooking at a bakery and a catering business, i hope to be a chef someday. After saving every penny through the summer i had earned $2000. But that wasn't good enough! It took a lot of convincing, research and time, but i did it, i found out how to get the best out of our vacation without spending a truck load.

Mom: She is on the right in the pic. My mom is the best mom, affectionate, caring, and understanding:love: . She likes disney, but not as much as me. All in all, she had a good time visiting the disney parks.

Dad: Yes he is on the far left in pic. Dad has an easy going personality and is fun to be around. He also has a touchy stomach and has for YEARS. With his touchy gut he is uncomfortable often:sick: . Also disney is not really his thing, ethier are amusement parks and rides, so really he was pretty sick of the parks by the end of the trip.

Well that is it, oh by the way we are a family of 5, my two older brothers live on there own and have there own life, none are as disney crazy as me. This could be a slow moving trip report as i gather my thoughts and pictures.

Hey, i can see i need some help. How do i insert a picture? I have tried the insert pic thing several times and it doesn't show. Plus the way you have to do it is kind of difficult, usually you can browse, but this one you can't. Please, what does everyone else do to insert pictures?

Hi Alexis!

What I did to post pictures was upload them to imageshack.us. They give you a "hotlink for forums" which I then cut and pasted into my post. Hope that helps!

oh gosh, this isn't going to work ethier. its much to big, i also did try resizing and puting it in a new file and uploading it, but it still turned out to big. i would use photobucket but you can only upload photos to their suggested websites.

Ok let me try this again. Earlier today i typed out a big paragraph on my trip report and clicked "done" and it said thank you, but nothing ever appeared! So i now have to redo this.

My family and I live in Seattle WA and we are vegetarians, I have been one since birth. Alright, so the trip started on Saturday Dec. 1, and what did we wake up to on flying day? Snow ofcourse. We were very cold. After dropping our car off we got on a shuttle to take us to our 8:35 am flight. After security check in we had about 2 hours to lose, but we didn't do much except buy some water and hand sanitizer.

4 1/2 hrs. later we arrived in Cinncinatti Ohio, yes Ohio. We then needed to catch our connecting flight to Orlando Florida. YEAH!!! :rotfl: (I have been dreaming of this trip for so long, to long) so all the flying went well and we arrived in Orlando right on time. We were starving by the end of the flight, but we couldn't stop to eat because we needed to hurry and get our car and then drive to the All Star Vacation Homes office to check in. After check in we drove to the house. The house turned out to be very clean and pleasant, we also really enjoyed having our own pool.

Once unpacked and still hungery we drove to the shopping area that we just came from with the all star office to eat and get groceries. We ate at the pizza place Gordino's i think was the name. My mom and i really enjoyed it, but my dad did not. We ordered the veggie pizza on thin crust and salads. The rest of the evening was spent stopping in the market in the same shopping center (we recomend you shopping at the publix stores and skip the market by the all star office), watching tv and then bed.

Next Up: No disney quite yet, we weren't prepared for the 80 degree weather

I HOPE PEOPLE READ THIS AND BRING JOY:)

Day 2, no pictures were taken yet, also i am having extreme trouble uploading them to my computer:confused: .
We woke up and had a slow going morning. We were all tired from yesterdays travel. Once awake we took a dip in the pool and watched an armadilo (spelling) walk by. We thought that was cool, we had no idea they lived there! After that we made breakfast and talked about what was going on today. Since it was Sunday i really wanted to head to the celebration farmers market, but it didn't fit in. We went down to winter park (the part we drove through was kind of depressing) and stopped in whole foods. We loaded up a $140 reciept (don't know how that happened, we didn't buy that much). After loading stuff into car we were all hungery and tried to make pbandj in the car, very risky i know:laughing:. After that we headed to target to look for some cooler clothing and paper products etc. Leaving without much luck in clothes(we asked where the gogles were for swimming and they said "thats a seasonal item") we went to k-mart. No luck there ethier, how could a hot place like florida not have ANY shorts!?!? They did have good goggles though. So we spent the rest of our day driving around getting to know the area and such (i said ealier we did get a late start), for dinner we made gluten free mac and cheese with beans, veggie chicken nuggets and salad.

For tomorrow, Magic Kingdom with pics:cheer2:

Alexis123 - Like you, I had quite a time getting my pictures to fit this website. I downloaded Pixresizer from this site: http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/ . It is free and easy to use. My camera takes 7 MPixel images, so I usually resize them to 75% of the original. This is an example of a resized image:

You can make the image any size you want. I use Photobucket, but there are lots of other sites that do the same thing. Using Photobucket, you just right-click in IMG Code and click Copy, then at this site you right-click and Paste. It's that easy

Here is the first part of my trip report from last June.
