I was wondering what are some things to do in The Resort area. What new rides have been added? I also have bo idea what the area has to offer other than Disneyland.
Let me know of any rides that have been put in, stuff to do, where to shop for Disney stuff(Like do they have a place like Downtown Disney),
I would be so grateful for some help!;)

Rides added since when? DLR is always adding things, so it is hard to know how to answer this question without a time frame.

Since 2000.
OK, here goes:

At DL

1. Space Mtn refurbed - way better than before IMO - do not miss it

2. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - fun, interactive ride - you will want to do it more than once

3. POTC and HM changed

4. Remember Dreams Come True - fireworks/laser/special effects extravaganza - DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW - it is jaw dropping - take the time to get to the hub early and get a spot - 60 minutes early on busy nights - you need to be able to see the castle where many of the effects are displayed

5. Come June, Finding Nemo submarine ride

At DCA - built in 2001 so it would appear you have neven been there

1. Soarin Over California - absolutely, positively, 100% certainly do not miss this ride - Disney at its best

2. Tower of Terror

3. Turtle Talk With Crush at the Animation Studios in DCA in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area

4. Grizzly River Run

5. California Screamin - if you like looped rollercoasters

6. Aladdin show - 40+ minutes, excellent show

dont forget monster inc ride :)

theres a big store at DTD called "World of Disney" its got a lot of Disney stuff :)
