Day 3
We woke up to almost torrential rain so decided not to rush too much. We went down to breakfast to find Mickey in the lobby so had to stop for a photo shoot!! We then had a very nice breakfast in the Manhattan Restaurant. The rain wasnt quite as bad once wed finished so we ventured to the Studio Park. We got there in time to go into Art of Disney Animation which was very enjoyable, and then Holly had a drawing lesson which was brilliant, she learnt how to draw Winnie the Pooh.
As we left there Holly spotted Crushs Coaster. It was closed and we got there just as it opened, or so we thought. There must have been a technical problem and the people already queuing were still in there. We queued for an hour and then got on the ride. It is now one of my favourite rides, it was fantastic but Holly hated it!! I was really worried my dad wouldnt like it as I knew it spun round, but he said he was in the queue so would try it. He came off and loved it!!
We went on The Tram Tour and then Armageddon, Holly loved the tram but hated Armageddon, we thought it best to go back to Disney Park at this point. We did see Bell Hop Goofy at this point.
We managed another 2 rides on Big Thunder Mountain, and a ride on the steam train.
We were booked into the Parkside Diner for dinner so headed back to the hotel. On the way back we shopped in both Main Street and The Disney Village, not sure if we left anything for anyone else!! The meal was very nice with plenty of choice.
We went for a quick swim after dinner. The water was very cold and there was no shallow end but plenty of floats and arm bands. The sauna and steam room were lovely. We had another fantastic day and all slept really well!!
