A lot of firsts for our next trip to WDW next month (>2 weeks!) First trip for DD, first time staying onsite (the CR!), and now my first time making ps's. Keep in mind our trip is short, only 2 days and 1 night. But I"m happy we're going to be at WDW at all!

I really wanted a PS on the 12th for Chef Mickey's since we are staying at the CR, but I called and was unable to get one for the 12th (the only time we have available for breakfast). I might try asking again when we check into the CR. I did get a character breakfast at Ohana's. which brings me to ask, what is the best way to get to the Poly from the CR? We do have a rental car, but maybe it's easier to take another from of trans??? Suggestions please...

We have another PS at Tempura Kiku at 1:30 for lunch at Japan in the WS on the 11th. Japan is a favorite country in the WS for DH and me. So we are excited about that.

I didn't want to make many PS's, since out trip is so short and I don't want to be rushed at any time. We are just so excited about our trip, and we are ready to have a good relaxing vacation together! Thanks for your help

I have had luck more than once with walk ups for Chef Mickeys for dinner. Each time I had tried to get a PS either by phone from home, or on property and was told to try a walk up as PSs were not available at the time I wanted.

To get from the Contemporary Resort to the Polynesian, just hop the monorail. The resorts are connected!

Sounds like you will have lots of fun packed into your two days!

Enjoy your first on-site trip! I've had breakfast at 'Ohana before, and it was quite delicious. :)

I would try to call for PSs when you get there or ask about them when you check in, and if that doesn't work, try walking up. It shouldn't be a big deal, as long as you are prepared to wait a little bit longer than usual (with PSs).

And it doesn't get much easier than getting to the Poly from CR! :) The monorail is so much easier than anything else, and you can also take the monorail to Epcot (with a switch at the TTC).

Have a wonderful trip, and enjoy staying on-site! Beware, you may never be able to stay offsite again! ;)
