My first solo -- Well almost solo trip!

Great report. :thumbsup2 The pics were great. I was going to do a solo trip next year but now I am taking 3 kids. so maybe 2010 cause 2009 trip will be 10 - 17 of us going.
Thanks for posting your trip it was fun to read.

Thank you so much! From solo to taking 3 kids , what a change! Although I love going to WDW with friends and family, my solo trip was sooooo much fun! Definitely plan one when your schedule allows.

2009 with 10-17! :worship: Have you been with a group that large before? The largest group that I have been with was 7 and that was "interesting". Actually I had a great time, but my sister & her husband went a bit crazy because they were in an RV with her in-laws plus my niece & nephew. There is definitely something to be said for each family having there own space. My sister (the one above) and I have talked about a family trip which would probably be 7-10 people but we aren't past the talking stage yet.

July trip was 8 people and that was the largest. It will be interesting and we will do seperate things during the day and then get together for dinner.

Doing separate things during the day makes a lot of sense to me with a group that large. I have read a few trip reports where a group of even 7-8 seemed to want to go in different directions but tried to do everything together. This just seemed to end in frustration. I think that if I do a larger trip, I will take the same approach as you.
