My first run Disney event!

I was wondering about the pictures too. We are running our first runDisney event, the half marathon, in January. I saw a list on character stops from last years run. It looks like there were 13-14 (quite a few in MK). If we stop for half of them I am guessing it might add 25-30 min on to our expected finish time?
Also, does anyone know how much the photos are? And where the photographers are? I am guessing at the finish but are there other key places to be on the lookout?

The photos for the ToT run I just did last month were $24.95 per sheet I believe but they have packages if you are looking for a bunch. I didn't buy any as I didn't love any of the pics that much to justify the cost. I should just to get a pic of my first Disney race but so far I haven't.

Photographers were everywhere. I saw them throughout the course. Not as much on the streets but in the parks for sure.

Congrats! I wish I could do a Disney run... I did a 10 km run this fall and loved it, and the atmosphere in disney seems like so much fun. Hoping to do the Princess Half-Marathon one day. Was the race very organized? Did you feel like it was too crowded?

You can do a Disney race, just start saving. :) If you like running and you like Disney you have to plan to do at least one in your life. Just be prepared to become addicted. Yes, the race is very organized. Only 11,500 people for the ToT, one of their smaller races, but it is still a lot of people. It went so smoothly. If you are in one of the earlier corrals it feels less crowded as there are fewer people in the earlier corrals. But, waiting in line for the porta-potty was crowded for sure. I have a video I took while I was standing there. It's crazy.

I meant to run the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon in 2015, but couldn't register. It was sold out within 48 hours of being open to the general public! So now I'm training crazy early for the 2016 Disney Princess 1/2. You can bet I'll be online THE SECOND registration opens next year!!

For us it ended up adding about 30 minutes to our finish time for the Wine & Dine half this year. Between that and the rain we were about 45 minutes over goal pace. I've learned that I should just take it easy for a runDisney race and have fun! It's more fun to enjoy it than all out race the half-marathon at Disney! :)

My only complaint about RunDisney events is how quickly they sell out! My friend and I wanted to run the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon in 2015 but it sold out before we had a chance to register...less than 48 hours after registration opened. Next year, you can bet I'll be ready to register the second registration opens!

I'm doing the 5k fun run or whatever it's called this January been training since September. It's a goal for me to just do that. After that might do longer runs. I will say I didn't like to run, but once I started training don't hate it as much
