Hello everyone,
Although I've been to Disney countless times, this is my first pre trip report, or should a say a trip report of any kind. I must say, I visit this thread everyday and enjoy each and everyone's trip and pre trip reports. That being said, let's get started.........................
Bride - 34, Disney Nut and I'm putting that lightly! Been going since I was 2 years old.
Groom - 40, Second trip to the world, first was last Feb. when I talked him into it. Never been a huge fan of Disney, but if you marry me, you marry Disney!
H2B and I got engaged over a quiet dinner at a local resturant in our hometown. He was planning on putting my ring in a piece of pie or cake, but knew better then to do that to a person with a sweet tooth! So he had the waitress tie my ring to a balloon which was tied to a bottle of Champagne. Looking back I had to laugh because I'm not a drinker so when I saw the Champagne I was wondering if they had the wrong table. Then I saw the ring and boy did I open up the flood gates and jumped into my H2B's lap! What a wonder night!
Fast forward a bit........I always wanted a "beach" wedding ever since I was a little girl. I was never big on having a huge wedding with tons of people. So one night my H2B said "Where ever you want to get married, is fine with me but remember, where ever it is, it will be the place we return to every year for our anniversary". Gee, do you think I needed to put any thought into that??? I think not!
So we are set and I can not wait!!!!!!!! Not only am I marrying the man who makes my heart smile, I am marrying him in the best place in the world! What more could a bride want!
4/4/05 - arrive at MCO at 9:00 am! If there was a earlier flight I would have taken it! Can't wait to get there! Let's all place a bet on just how much sleep I'll get the night B4. We arranged to have a Towncar service take us to the Wyndham Palace resort and spa where our wedding will take place. We'll meet with the W.C. for last minute arrangements then off to the MK we go!
4/5/05 - WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!!!! We'll get up early and have breakfast with our guests then off to the GF for a 1:00 pm couple's massage. (what better way to start the day) Next, 4:00 pm hair appt. Ceremony at 6:30 pm. Reception/dinner at 8:00 pm then off to P.I. for the night!
4/6/05 - Check out late, I hope then, transfer to CBR for the remaining of our weddingmoon. After we settle in, we will head to Epcot with our guests for a day of fun!
4/7/05 - MGM for the day!
4/8/05- Water park. Dont know which one yet.
4/9/05- A day of shopping at Downtown Disney then going to see Cirque Du Soleil. I heard so many good things about this show!
4/10/05- MK for the day!
4/11/05 - Leaving for home.
Well, I hope you all enjoy reading my first pre trip report just as much as I enjoyed writing it!
