My FIRST post!! Is free dining cyclical?

Hi there! After looking for quite a while, this is my very first post. Went on our first family trip to WDW in May (POR) and now, my fellow Disney lovers, I am ADDICTED! We had a blast and we are now planning our next trip-again in May (During Tulip Time festival here where we live!). Crowds weren't too bad and weather was perfect with only one HOT day. Now that we know more about what we are doing, I won;t have the family on a forced march as the hubs said about the last trip! LOL! When we went, we luckily had free dining. Hoping to get it again, but wondering since they are offering it for the fall/winter, if they will offer it again in the Spring? I know many of you have been doing this for years and wondering if there is a pattern of when they offer free dining?

(Oh, and if we stay at a Deluxe-thinking Poly-will we be ruined for ever staying at a Value or Mod in the future?) Thanks!!

And I LOVE the Poly!!! We're trying the Beach Club this time... my daughter is drooling over the 3 acres of pool called StormAlongBay, and it's a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Poly.
