Well, I finally got a website of my own to host pictures, and I wanted to do some picture threads with photos from DIS CON 2 this past December. Here's the first installment of pics. Hope you enjoy them!
Our home for the first half the trip was the Poly--what a relaxing resort!
Even the bathroom was beautifully themed, LOL!
The Christmas decorations were lovely. The decorations are part of what makes WDW so much fun at Christmas time.
This is me (I'm the short one, LOL) and my best friend Melissa (mels28) at the Poly after a delicious dinner at Kona Cafe.
Speaking of the Kona Cafe, the desserts were so delicious that I took a picture of them.
Now on to a day at the Magic Kingdom. I just loved this 100 YoM topiary at the entrance, and I'm going to miss seeing it.
I saw the Share a Dream Come True parade for the first time on this trip. Here's the beginning "float."
The "bad guys."
What a pretty float with many Disney friends on it.
And finally Mickey waves to us.
A nighttime shot of the castle.
The castle during the fireworks--a little blurry, but I thought the picture was neat anyway.
Halfway through the trip we moved over to the Yacht Club, and here's a shot of our room. It had been recently renovated, and I love the new decor.
This chair was great to lounge on, and I love the anchor print on it.
We could see World Showcase from our balcony--we even got to see Illuminations one night, which was so neat.
Here's a shot of the recently renovated concierge lounge.
Here's me with one of the Christmas trees outside the concierge lounge.
Even the tree in the YC's lobby had a nautical theme.
This is the back entrance to the YC with the pretty garland on the lamp posts.
There was a really neat Donald Duck topiary at the back entrance.
On my next picture thread I'll post some Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Studios pictures.
