My First Paper Piecing for a swap

I actually used suede contact paper and a sizzix die cut, the hooves are black bazzill and the mane is made out of silk embroidery thread that was fray checked ( is that a word?) then twisted with a knot in the middle to hold the strands together. Two pieces were then glued to the mane and one set of long pieces for the tail. It is laying against a mat but not attached. I just needed to get all three things in the piicture.

This is for the Newbie MK swap for Frontierland.

very nice susie. i was thinking i was going to use that die to make a zebra. i have some really great zoo pics from last year. (if i ever get my butt into gear and work on last years stuff!!!!!!)

I think there is still room, isn't there? I am making a general MK topper and slide mounts. (I think) You know you want to join us... :)
