Hi all,

I have been so blessed to go with my family (of 5, I'm the oldest -27, I have a sister who is 19, and a brother whom is 11) almost every year since I was 4 years old. We have learned almost all of the secrets, all the ins and outs, where to stay, where and when to eat, etc. We went to Disney last month for Spring Break/my birthday and had a blast and discussed regardless of crowds or expense, it's just as magical every time we go. Yesterday, I learned that my dbf is going on a business trip in 2 weeks, May 8-13th, in Orlando, and the owner has invited him and I to go - all expenses paid. HOW BLESSED AM I - to go to Disney again - but this time, with my bf who has never been before! This will be my first 'grown-up' trip to Disney, plus to have to share with a newbie! And to think "WHATS A GIRL TO DO"...I have two weeks to plan, make ADR, and prepare this trip, and make it an unforgettable experience ....and take into consideration that this will all be new to him. He's going to think I'm a maniac.. "The gates open at 9, then we get fast pass for this, then we ride this, then lunch at 1pm at ..., then go back to hotel, drinks by pool, then shuttle to Dinner, watch fireworks..." hahaha...Oh, this is good, he's going to call me a loon..

So funny... I am very similar to you ImportAngel. I visited WDW many times with my family when I was little (I'm now almost 26), but in 14 days (hooray!) I will be going to the World with my BF who has never been (and it will be my first "grown-up trip" too).

My BF is not really a planner so he really does think I'm crazy for going over all the UG touring plans, making ADRs for all our meals, and posting on the DIS, of course! I think all our planning will pay off though and give our BFs very memorable first trips to WDW! Have a great time! :goodvibes

How funny....I can relate. My BF and I were planning another trip to Las Vegas and brought up WDW since the dining plan is free.....
We checked out the airfare and package and it is cheaper for us to do 6 days in Disney than 5 in Vegas(we like to splurge and gamble there).
I treat my Mom and kids every year, but have always wanted to do "Adult Disney" plus the kids are going on a Disney Cruise without me this summer :(
I have this little obsession wthe Disney and started to plan the trip and my BF looked at me like I was on drugs. I started explaining the resorts, parkhopping, fastpass, magical express, ADRs, EMH, etc....He thought we would just show up and play it by ear...oh how naive of him. I showed him this site and now he is so excited tog oand keep checking out the menus and information.
So....basically we are taking the red-eye from San Diego so we can get in early in the morning and go to MK after checking into WL whiole waiting for our room. When the room is ready, nap and get ready for ADR at Liberty TRee Tavern. This is our only character meal, but we love the style of food and gotta do one character meal right? Late MK hours so we are closing down the park.
Day 2- Sleep in, go to the pool and relax until late afternoon. Then off to DTD for shopping, late dinner at Raglan Road to listen to live music and have a few drinks.
Day 3- Ecpot all day. Late lunch at Coral Reef and then off to sample drinks and food around World Showcase...Illuminations then sleep from long day!
Day 4- sleep in and go to AK in the afternoon and enjoy extra evening hours. Then off to Jiko for late dinner and drinks at AKL.
Day 5- MGM in the morning and afternoon. Back to WL to relax and go to dinner at GF Narcoossies from Surf and Turf and watch the fireworks from Grand Floridian.
Day 6- :) Leave at 730om so we will go back to MK and hit the monorail resorts for some cocktails.

Hope this helps....there are so many wonderful things to do and never enough time to do everything!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!

I went on my first Trip this year with 3 GK & DD I did all the planningwhich parks to hit, which days, where to eat etc. DD thought I was nuts!! But agreed that I really knew what was going on. Only thing I have a lousy sense of direction and she did much bettter at navigating us around the parks when I told her where we needed to be. I plan on going next year on an adult or solo trip I'm really leeaning to solo and having complete control over where I go!!
